We must be changed this defective 1987 constitution to parliamentary system if we want to progress our nation.
It’s not the system it’s we the citizens the problem. We keep on voting corrupt and incompetent people in govt.

Agree with Carpio. But the resource persons should have also mentioned the solution rather than rant on the problems that our country is facing. Granting the revisions or amendments have been put in place and many investors are already planning to invest, can the gov't reduce red tape and corruption among public officials? Corruption has been there since the time of self declared President Aguinaldo... up to FPRRD and now PBBM. Our foreign debt has ballooned to P13T (pls correct me if I am mistaken) because we keep on borrowing funds to Finance our infra that sad to say a big portion of it went to the pockets of our gov't officials (in the DPWH , Congressmen, Governors, Mayors, project engineers etc). We have a huge trade deficit because we are not producing what we needed. Our lives are driven by all the WANTS and not the NEED. It's not only overhauling our constitution BUT rather overhauling the dignity, the hearts and minds of every Filipino to hate corruption. I'm sure we cannot do that in our lifetime moreso with the younger generations now - their outlook in life is far different from the people of the 50's, 60's . Corruption is very prevalent in almost all gov't offices or agencies. Our various churches and schools both public & private should now play their role in nation rebuilding. Teach our children to love God, their parents, siblings, relatives, friends and neighbors and be fearful of what's to come by doing evil. It should be a concerted effort of all people from the 3 branches of the gov't. I don't know how it will be started by the gov't of PBBM. It's a long road to walk but we should now take the first step to get there...
Inward investments can produce employment & help reduce unemployment or underemployment rate of our country. Businessmen understands corruption very well as it is already part of business. But what about our workforce's competitiveness? We will be working in circles, right? But it's worthwhile that the gov't should focus on where to start...

Investment,mas malaki tax,mas marami ang matutulungan.Mas marami ang pinagaaral ngayon nang gobyerno,mula sa daycare na 4Ps,hangang free college.Kailangan nang mga hospital ang malaking budget,Agriculture,Infrastructure
