Buganda is a subnational kingdom with 6 million citizens, in the central region of Uganda, including the capital, Kampala. Since 1993, Buganda is considered a kingdom monarchy with a large degree of autonomy from the Ugandan government. I can only tell you musevenis regime wouldn't survive a month if there was any sort of resistance from the mengo administration, the clearest example to that is the 2009 kabaka crisis that brought unprecedented political chaos in the history of musevenis reign but of course ignorant people like you don't know of such facts.

@@johnnzayiramya9339 there was concessions given and hard talk between the two entities on the matter, museveni gives enough respect to the kingdom of buganda because he knows its important for him to do so,museveni would not in any way attempt to severe his relationship with mengo because he knows that would be catastrophic, ask yourself why he spends alot of time and money buying religious and traditional leaders,in all countries where the religious and traditional institutions were at war with the ruling government those regimes were overthrown take congo as example,to amin and obote buganda was their biggest headache giver...if mutebi by chance declared war on the nrm regime believe me the consequences of that declaration would be terribly horrendous, the people of buganda can accept to be abused in all other ways but the issue of buganda is fragile and can trigger extremely violent retaliation from the region, people love their kings, look at what happened in rwenziruru kingdom when the king was in disagreement with yoweri yes they managed to contain the situation but they had to use extreme measures to get anything done, kasese is far from the central region so any chaos didn't affect neighbouring areas whilst chaos in kampala would undoubtedly sweep across borders into neighbouring tribes like busoga, museveni fears chaos because he knows such moments can be used to unseat him.
