- Fahrije’s husband has been missing since the war in Kosovo, and along with their grief, her family is struggling financially.
In order to provide for them she launches a small agricultural business, but in the traditional patriarchal village where she lives, her ambition and efforts to empower herself and other women are not seen as positive things. She struggles not only to keep her family afloat but also against a hostile community who is rooting for her to fail.
Just watched it today and I had never cried this much for a movie. It moved me to my core ❤️🙏❤️
Seriozisht shume film domethenes bravo,1 ndjesi qe te ban me u ndje krenar me femrat tona njekohsisht po nihna shume keq si mashkull shqiptar pernime gjdo njeri i meriton te drejtat e barabarta🥲🥲 po lutna me zemer qe me u vetedisu si popull na duhen aftesite te gjdo njeri pa dallim gjinie.
Çfarë filmi i arrirë! Sa me përgjegjësi e ka trajtuar çdo temë Blerta dhe sa bukur e ka përfaqësuar Yllka personazhin. Çdo fotografi e filmit permbledh tradita e vlera tonat. Dhe sa me delikatesë e ka futur kudo temën e luftës dhe masakrës që serbët kanë kryer ndaj shqiptarëve të Kosovës. Mrekulli e vërtetë, bravo bravo bravo!

It’s a very good movie. It shows the what happened after the Kosovo war 1998-99. Many woman did lose their husbands and they had to find a reason to live. Here they show the story of woman of a Village that did work together and faced also the problems of Society concerning woman that want be independant.
Can’t wait to see and support this groundbreaking film with all my Shqipe’s down under. We’re going to the Oscars, baby. Albania represent!

A beautiful film about a woman's determination and not giving up even when all odds are against her. It is not to be missed, a moving film.
