  • In this video we install 2 60" led tailgate strips to the rear of our Thor Vegas RV for added safety and a bit of coolness.

Thank you for posting this. Your video only one about adding these on a camper tail end.

Thank you for the kind words. We think they really improve the visibility to others.

Great idea....and on Amazon there are so many variations for this...49" or 60"...flexible strips or rigid aluminum frame ones. I had wondered about using these truck lights but wondered how to get the bar to use full light bar for left or right turn signals....hadn't considered just combining the two wires...duh....

Maybe (since those are out of stock) you could recommend a different but similar in function item? Looking to purchase & happy to use affiliate link. Thanks 🙏

I purchased Mega Racer (bummed I couldn’t find USA made), but wanted to comment that it would be better to connect to your tow connector so you don’t have to deal with cutting into existing tail lights and deal with grounding issues (per my installer). He used extensions from Auto Zone to make it happen. Thanks for posting this video! Helped a ton! Looking forward to having visibility even when our covered bikes are on the back. Cheers

Same situation as you, except that I did the install myself. Got mine from Nilight (China of course) and installed it in the back of a Grand Design TT. The wire scheme and colors were totally different than you see here for motorhome ones. Using the knowledge gained, process of deduction and 3 hrs, got it done. Installed it just above the bikes and below the back window. Thanks for the video.

I love this option. Thank you for sharing! Looking to purchase and having a helluva time finding them. Happy to find a solution to add visibility for braking k merging in & out of the highways of the big city where I live. It can get very treacherous- especially when we have our covered ebikes blocking so much of our tail lights! 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️
