For me, I used paper scraps, like office papers that used half and they got thrown in recycle bin! Collected them and cut into right sizes-- voila, u don’t have to “buy” paper to make crafts!

The paper I have is regular printing paper , but what I have is smaller printing paper than what u r using ! ! !

Oof, such a late reply. You use it to keep the paper in place, and make the strip into halves, then do the same depending on the size you want. :)
