I can honestly say after watching countless videos on CZcams, your video is the first I've found to truly be easy to follow and very helpful for someone new to pouring. I love the fact that you show your mixing process from the start, the ratio, and the product details in a very simple way. I also love that you aren't rambling on and you get right to it and without noisy music. Thank you for making it easy to follow. I'll be watching you from here out.

So, this cheap one you did rick is one of my favorites! It's taken me awhile to get whatever i was doin wrong right, and you are first person i wanted to say thanks to!! Life the last 2yrs have been the hardest ive had, and ive had some times that'd make the boogie man run and hide! When I've had no control of life around me, I've been able to do a pour and focus on it resulting in a better and more positive ability to endure what's ahead. You've brought me so much comfort in your work, sir. Thank you for sharing your gift!!

I think you just described one of the beautiful parts of the creative process. That focus that centers your attention and brings peace. Life does hand out some crap along the way. It’s nice to enjoy something inspiring like art to help us out of the muck.

Hey Rick, thanks for your generosity by sharing your knowledge with us. I love your format, no talking just straight to the point and note description. I hated having to listen to other videos where the person hems and haws for 5 minutes before getting to the point. Your straightforward manner denotes total confidence which rubs off on us newbies. Rhanks!

    Thank you for this "lesson".
I felt just meditative ... watching you creating in stillness this little canvas while you're giving the information - by the way - , that I needed.
I have found acrylic pouring videos en masse on you tube ....they caught my attention and curiosity in me to start with experiencing for myself how it works.
This has been since 6 weeks ~ an my experimenting costs a lot, because I actually don't want to stop 😃.
With floetrol it DOES cost a lot.
Therefore I am going to try out the results with school glue again.
Your work is amazing. I have enjoyed your video and subscribed.
    Of course.
Have a lovely inspiring and inspired day, dear Rick. 😊💫💎💫💛
May you be blessed with deep inspiration and JOY in everything you're doing.

That's an amazing result from those few primary colours and cheap materials! I was expecting a sort of dull splurge with three or four bands of primary colours but this has cells and tree-ring type thingies. I've wanted to try acrylic pouring but the price of some of the goods is ridiculously high online or just generally unattainable here in deepest, rural Merrie olde England and now it's affordable! It's good to not have distracting music or the artist's life story, in which case, I usually turn off the sound and have a giggle at the subtitles but if there are no English subtitles, it's not always an option. It's also good that half the video isn't taken up with mixing and stirring either - I often find myself fast forwarding over the dull bits. Not that I'm against a bit of background music or disinterested in other artists in any way, but this has been a refreshing change. In the unlikely event of making a video myself, I'll let the watcher concentrate on the actual work and information as you have done. Thank you for sharing!

I absolutely love this technic. Because I mix glue into my homemade chalk paint recipe, use it for crackling, & decoupage stuff, I always have a gallon of Elmer's glue. This would be so easy to make a complimentary pic to go with furniture that I paint & sell. Because of one of your previous vids, I purchased the tiny red cups at my local Family Dollar to use with mixing. I just need to pick up some silicone spray. Thank you for sharing your art with us.

I have to agree, something about the fluidity and spontaneity of this art form. Looks & feels so organic, makes me melt a little inside. Love that feeling. At first, I admit, I thought it might feel a bit like cheating to paint this way, but now, feeling pretty sure I was wrong. The serendipitous nature & element of surprise might mostly make up for any reservations. Seems the process would feel wonderful, plus similarly evocative for the viewer. And, that's really, to me, what the goal of art is... to stir the soul a bit, right? Thank you, indeed, for sharing. I could watch you work all day...

I love the finished pour. It's beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I've seen loads of pouring videos and read lots of articles and you've simplified it all for me. I think I might just be ready to have a go myself now. You provided clear instructions and methodology and on a budget too. Thank you. I've just subscribed to your channel.

Rick, that came out very nice. The colors seemed deeper & more 3 dimensional.👍
