I am surprised Jerry didn't mention that he had already worked with Hugh Beaumont on a short film for a life insurance company in 1957 the same year he started as the beaver. I am pretty sure he did that before "Beaver".
What a wonderful story. That was one of things that made that show so great. The casting.
