Menno vs Issei
(in the middle of this battle there is a 90 second rest, then the second side starts for the last two rounds, hence the dip to black in the middle of the footage)
winner: Menno (Netherlands)
0:59 wait...
😂😂
Iam sure that he dont understand in what is he doing there 😂😂😂😂
The wtf moment
Pudgeee
I really enjoyed watching this “new” Issei.
He incorporated moves I've never seen him doing before, such as tombstone mills.
Everything looked different to me, (character, style, sets, outfit...).
4:23 Menno was all about new original moves as well. Nice battle.
I feel like battle attitude is what Issei has been lacking all these years. Usually he just goofs around but here he brought that battle intensity.
@@inclinebench
Totally agreed.
@@matthewmyersoj6886 'Battle attitude' is hellafake, that attitude came from REAL street beef, it's so cringe when it's two dudes from opposite ends of the world get up in each others faces like they've got some lifelong feud lol, you never saw Storm get heated or throwing dicks in faces, the fabricated static is so low IQ
@@oldskoolfool141 man you really need to put you mind to work and see that break it is just an form of art similar to theather. Some of them like to play aggressively and we dont care about because that we know thats all staging. At the end of the battle you can see the hugs and the hands shakes. The art was created to we get out of this prison that is all those rules that we have to follow in society
@@oldskoolfool141
Haha. I understand your point, but we can't expect people to to beat the shit out of themselves in a movement that emerges as an alternative to this violence... I imagine that everyone will have their reasons to expose that anger in the battle, and many of them can be favored because of the social networks. Maybe you see that they've stolen a move you did before, that speaks ill of you behind your back, or that they don't like your Instagram posts, whatever. I don't think it's necessary to meet in person to have reasons why you want to fight...
It could even turn the other way around. If you meet a person long enough to know even what he ate yesterday, you could even be friends haha.
However, I agree with the “cringey throwing dicks” and all that similar stuff part...
3:50 that was beautiful
i love how both of them bring the vibe to this final battel 🙏🏻 what a final !!!
That was a hard judge for both dancers
fo sho. menno took it for me though, his style is dope too
Menno is the technical move
As much as i love Menno, I always want to see Issei win
Menno is a bboy that can compete with every single style. he has no limit and one of the hardest to beat in my opinion. Respect!
Jan Lascano his intimidation game is underrated. He makes everyone doubt their style.
@@sethcaro76 oh wow. Yeah you're right about it.
Jan Lascano
MENNO IS A FAKE CHAMPION!
I thought for a long time that hes the god of bboying. When everybody is trying to go second, he just goes in fearless and destroys the game.
as much as i dont like menno, i admit he did very well this battle. unique and original
Why don't you like Menno??
@@CraigSays hahaha good question
Sick battle. Menno with his clean original flow and issei had some nice responses to menno's moves as well. IMO hard to decide who wins
The morning jogger win again ...
This is hilarious
Good battle,
Third song was a banger does anyone know it??
Flue katana
@@jakube2000 ty very much :)
Menno's flow is so well developed that he transforms his crashes into moves and transitions.
Second round music please?
Good result . You could tell both were way tired by the end which benefits Menno since Issie relies on a lot of power moves.
Agreed
crazy that all style no power beats mostly power with style doesn't seem right to me.....
@@danielsullivan6364 yea but if your tired you need to have sets you can complete with rhythm and on beat. It's a dance competition and Menno was better for this round. Issei will have to adjust ti more style as he grows older which he already has been.
Jezus that was a visual journey!
Could you imagine there two going head to head in the first round and not the finals? Full tank of energy! Boi the level of BBoy is getting higher and higher. Respect to both guys for putting it all on the floor for us to behold.
song starting at 3:38 is sampled from "One of These Nights" by The Eagles. Not sure whose mix it is but I know for a fact that's the song is based on.
It's instrumental from Grubson feat. Promoe - Rudeboy Stance prod by OER ;)
@@BboySkrzydo instrumental available anywhere?
@@LilTylerPT Only if you come to the jam where DJ Plash is spinnin ;)
I definitely felt like Issei won this battle but all due credit to Menno because he did very well. This was a different Issei than I've seen before and I like it.
Clive Anderson Jr.
Issei always got robbed
Both is great but Issei took this battle, how can he lost again?
The judges is too bias!!! Smh 🤦♀️
@@HauTran-sunfromsouth
Yeah right. As always every time Menno dances he is just backed up by the judges like Mayweather!
Isso que é final 🔥🔥🔥
This 90 second interval "rest" is stupid as hell. Bringing your heart rate down after doing physical activity like this then having to ramp your heart rate again is more tiring then to just keep going
True, they should go all in, with 30-40 seconds sets in 3 rounds, thats all.
Who was the DJ???
i almost fall asleep watching menno sets
What’s the second song name?
Wow I actually seen Menno repeat a couple moves in this tournament! Honestly, both are so high complexity you can’t pick a winner. I will a say that Menno has a unique way of making of making power movers look “lazy”.
Menno dances in cursive. Most of his moves is just simple shit like rolling on the ground, fucking coffee grinder, zulu spin, etc. but he puts his own style into it and makes it flow well.
@@undrgrnd734 no, you're just a e-boy who has no idea what you're watching
@@undrgrnd734
A boring style is a boring style MENNO IS A FAKE CHAMPION! When it comes to fair judging Menno should be the one who will always lose.
@@barbe-rose Oh yea I am definitely a eboy who has no idea what Im watching. you are 100$ right barbe rose. After all he did win red bull bc one, damn look at his sick moves in the video wow so hard and complex and I am beginner eboy.

menno = the champ for veterans and core people. menno = fake for all the newbros
0:17 the judge was so in to it he was about to start breakdancing 😂😂😂😂😂 at 0:21 he had to snap out of it
hahah ty
its gonna be this event every year or every four years like olympic ?
Can someone please explain to me how did the judging system work? Last two rounds looked like a tie for me. Did menno win because of the ammount of votes he got in previous rounds? That's what i assume. I think it deserved one more round though, not sure if the system allows it however.
Menno's style is an acquired taste. Fucking amazing in the details
Menno always good with 1 vs 1.
How many menno was pay judges ??
Someone please explain to be the scoring system in these battles 🙏
Interesting battle for sure.
Anyone know the last song?
battle of the year for me
What name this music???
I've seen powermove freaks for a decade.
I've never seen a Menno. That's the difference.
Hard to decided
This battle was tight. So much so that I bet the winner would differ depending on which judging system the event uses. Lol.
Song names please?
first song?
Plash - Noah
Any idea what kicks issei’s rockin?
Bryan . T they look like white leather Nike Cortez 🤔🤙
Issei ❤❤❤❤❤
Nice nice guys!!!

The music was dead👀 as fxxx seriously no energy for da bboys🙀 but on a positive note I'm glad bboying is now recognised in the game yall👊🏽
Wow, Issei's got so many moves that one of his strongest signatures (2:36) he only used at the tie in the finals haha
Issei lost WTF
Issei for strength, menno for money

very close battle . good one . but menno did repeat one of his move roll back to head stand with no hand .
Yeah i just noticed that
Issei did elbow track 10 x and airtrack 20 x so what it was dope final lol😂😂😂
The way Menno mixes powermoves with his flow is so satisfying to watch.
How
Tan duro tan duro
I like issei new stuff. He's improving his skills every year. Nice battle.
Issei🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒
in general, tier break is only 1more round it should be taken by Menno. but last round Menno really look tired.
Last music is guood.....yoo
Saw 2-2 at the end result. What was that about, 1 more round! XD
Yeah i think hha
Olivia Colomar They did it so that whichever bboys had more points is the winner so Menno had 17 total points over Issei who had 11.
Wtf were the judges watching?
Menno foi muito fraco no ultimo round, o estilo dele não me impressiona em nada, issei muito melhor
Menno menno menno
Menno is too nice
Lol @ Issei's hair when he goes into that head spin (3:57). Why does it go so flat like that?? He must use expensive conditioner...
Wouldn’t 3:28 be considered a bite? Or do enough people do it to where it’s chill 🤔
Eugéne Yan it looked like he failed to stick the freeze and then did it two more times so it wouldn't be a crash in my opinion, but who else does that? I've never seen it before
I have seen him do that move before years ago. Wing has a different version of it though.
Menno Danmmmm < This years! 3 Times...BCONE
Menno is good now after implementing power moves.
He's always had power.
You can search for his battles between 2005-2008, it was like a weaker Bibo with more flow.
@@matthewmyersoj6886 I always knew that he had power, just watch his battle against Lilou. But its nice that he's implementing them in the majority of his sets. He's scary good now.
Para mano menno e bom mais o issei foi melhor
Issei is good than menno
Menno is top 2 in the world and he’s not number two.
From Bboyrankingz? I wouldn't really trust that source. They were counting the ELO in thousands only 3 years ago haha.
Matthew Myers Oj Nah, I drew up that conclusion myself. I firmly believe that Menno is the best in the scene right now.
@@inclinebench do you put Victor or Issei on number two?
@@matthewmyersoj6886 Bboyrankingz is trash, It's missing so many events and some bboys/crews aren't even registered which means even if you win an event you can get 0 rating.
That said Menno is number 1 over the past 5 years, he's won 2 BC1.
@@Norim845 I personally wouldn't have victor in my top 5 but thats just me
Menno Moves are not so spesial and Issei moves are so amazing.... But Issei moves similar from round to round, except Menno, he has thousand moves.
Menno allways went fresh on his small detils threw his entir rounds, thats why he allways won
Menno break dance of 1970 and 80
I had Issei taking this.
Menon was killing it!
Yeah but issei was on another level bro
Menon 🤣🤣🤣
@@rishabhkumarsingh9210 another level? Lol not even close
Am I the only one to think that the reputation of Menno makes halfs the job for the decision of judges ?
Menno on Fire 🔥
Props for Meno on winning this event. I will say that originality is sometimes boring. To simply put it, Meno’s originality is boring to watch. He’s mostly breaking hunched over on the ground. There is only so much of that style that a person can see before getting bored. Meno is complex and original but rarely has the wow factor that make battles exciting.
He dances for the judges and nobody else 😒
Exactly. I cant see how anyone would have menno winning over some of these other bboys. Must be politics
menno moves is like gradpa moves
Amazing battle. I loved both and Menno is always my favorite even though I like Issei a lot but no one can beat Menno's flow.
its a shame issei is off redbull now, we wont be seeing him in international events as much

Nice finish from Issei
yeah but super short
Menno se ve muy repetitivo, es bueno pero un poco sobrevalorado!
I really enjoyed the part where he sniffed his own balls. I did that move alone in my house one time.
Hahahahahah
Menno looks like some random dude who was out for a jog after a heavy drinking session the night before and just decided to enter the competition for a laugh, pulled out a few roly polys and arse spins and jogged back to the hotel laughing his sack off that he actually won....!
Nice definition of his style.
