**Update** - just a heads up i misspoke when going over the cool piping trick at the end of the video u dont need any power at all, it was just an alignment issue, i'll be showing the final organized result in my next farming/cooking video coming out tmw ;)

Just connect the piping in the direction you want the water to go.. :) Even before you start thinking of pumps. Can't pump up if water pipe is set to flow down.
@@Bearprobe it’s all just gravity as long as the next little pump is slightly lower than the previous one they will flow in the right direction
For beginners. You only have 4 15W solar panels. My suggestion is to daisy chain the 4 panels and from the last one go to 2 switches. Switch 1 for turrets and Switch 2 for everything else. This will allow you to turn off everything on switch 2 so you have enough power in the early game to power a good number of turrets on switch 1. From Switch 2 you can add more switched if you want to split everything into categories like Always On, Mining, Farming, Etc.
When you want to do a purification, all you have to do is turn off switch 2 and turn on switch 1 and all your turrets will operate. No mistakes.

Really helpful guide thank you, I got so lost with all the wires trying to make them look as neat as yours so for anyone that isn't tidy like me you can press L when in build mode to hide all wiring and piping. Just press L again to show them. Edit: I persevered and managed to actually get them looking nice and natural so again thanks!

I spent hours working on the wiring for my base, but had to simplify it because I kept crossing wires somewhere because I had my connectors too close and couldn't tell what was what anymore. Still, I was able to split each floor with its own switch, so good enough for my purposes. Love the base design!
I was able to pull of the Glitchiz base for my hive to use as some sort of command center, thanks so much! Now I just need the glass skin so it looks pleasing, gotta wait the next month's paycheck. Hope we get more banger vids!

I personally like to simplify my wires so later i dont have to get confused which wires is for what.... i would daisy chain similar facilities (benches,stove etc) and connect them to a single node on the ground which connects to a switch from the outside. And chain defenses (turrets, traps, etc) connect them to a node on the wall. And connect all the farming facilities to a node in the ceiling. This way when i want to move things around i can just follow a single node and to know which wires connect what and since you will put all similar structures together the wires wont show anyways if you daisy chain them next to each other

This is cool. I actually wire my production and defenses to different switches. If I don't need the defense, I leave my turrets off and same for my production. Saves on a ton of power.

for gardening if the light is 2 floors up it will cover a 5x5 with irrigation in the middle. and irrigation covers up to 7x7
this is correct my crops are just not a big.
not exactly. with a 7x7 the corners will not be irrigiated and additionally depending on the direction the spinkler faces (it appears to not be a perfect circle) and how much the middle point deviates from the perfect middle you might get additional planters next to the corners unwatered.
Ooo next season I'll be making bigger gardens with this new info I learned \o/!

Deviated Generator is hands down the best generator in the game. 35W and 50W with the eel.
The tip on enemies targeting the electric pylon probably explains them attacking my old base, thanks
In beta you had switches labeled. I tried the whiteboard but only allows me one. Would really like to label them for friends
Pretty sure seeing wires in others bases is probably a bug/glitch because I've been in a lot of other players bases and haven't ever seen piping or wires.
i believe how it works is if u yourself set wires and pipes to hidden it will be that way in other players bases too. its a person by person basis. if the other players dont have it set to hidden they will still see them even if you do
My plumbing and wiring is such, that my base is now where parents send the children they can't afford to feed.
the water pump works likes this, power it on and it will pull anything its connected to regardless of physics/gravity. power off will push and also follow gravity laws
Organization aside, if you're lazy like me, you can just press "L" while in build mode to hide all wires and pipes

speaking of bases, I moved my base, no one mentioned Id loose both my water pump and starcrom pump when I moved it.
anything that gets destroyed when moving a base get added to your territory terminal vault. u should get all ur materials back to rebuild it
i figureed the roof out but i had to remove some building parts so i could free up space :D

There is one HUGE point that (I’m not sure it was) wasn’t covered; each electric connector will count as one facility. Max facilities is 250. Trust me, you run out fast, so be efficient with how many connectors you place
What I did with my base was made a half wall crawl space... like an attic to run all my wires around.
are the deviation generators worth it? i placed one to see how it works but dont see how to fuel it if it even takes fuel does it just run on its own? if so that 35W will be useful and worth
The deviation generators just work if they're in a polluted area, they use the stardust pollution as their fuel, so just placing them down will make them generate as long as there is pollution

hey man can you make another fast gunner guide for the predator? i see other builds doing 100k dps and not many fast gunner users out there, right now my max dps though not consistent with all the buffs is 72k..can you make a full guide like u did in cbt thank you

Interesting. I just did my wires and farm and I find one sprinkler reaches 3x3 foundations which is about 7x7 plots. My sprinkler is set to 70. Also I have a very tall roof so the lamp hits them all.
Edit: minus the corner plots. So 3 plots in each direction.
i made 2 switch. 1 for cannons and 1 for home but its stressful cause i have no friends to help
Is one osmosis purifier enough to ensure you've constantly got enough water? (Assuming your farm is switched on 99% of the time outside of needing turrets for purifications) You've 5 sprinklers and the purifier can purify 4 slots at a time. Does having the 5 water pumps make up for it?
great point and the answer is actually no. i noticed a bottleneck as well after recording that video and so since then i made a second purifier and connected my 5th pump up to that so all 5 plots get constant water
Glitchiz i have one question on the mining platforms, how i can put it always farming, in my other base i used to have the platforms always farming without going there hour after hour
yeah they are a bit buggy right now ive let the devs know. seems like as soon as there full 1 hour cycle ends u have to restart them again. hopefully this will be changed

Yeah switches are the best, bummer they limited the signs. Was nice to label them on the wall. They should let ppl rename them.
can you connect generators together to avoid wasted energy?

im on a PVE server and having issues with balancing power while AFK farming and making fuel. I wonder how PVP players are able to balance defending their base while still powering their production items too

Stumped at how you got the archs to connect. cant get mine to do it, maybe my build is smaller or larger
doesnt work well in fly mode. go into normal human build mode and stand underneath the first arch connected to the middle and hook it up to the top hanging edge of that first arch. should be able to rotate it till it snaps into place arching down into the other direction

its a bug that happens if u have solar down first and create a hydro generator before deleting the old ones

i copied this base/combined with the original base build and have the roof exact but somehow am short 9 structure pieces. wtf. was something from earlier besides the stairwell changed?
removed the stair well. and the triangle roof pieces but thats about it. its gunna be tricky to mimic cuz it took all 700 points perfectly to do lol
If you press L in build mode it will hide the wires

dont understand why those generators are deeper in the memetic tree but generate less power than the stardust generator. AND they are a conditional type generator. smh
So base water generator is 25W and the "upgrade" is 30W?

what parts? the sprinklers??? if so no they wont work unless ur forcing water through them. u can manually put purified water inside but thats tedious and runs out fast. much better to have it constant and automated
No, the water wheel energy generator things. I read they don't work in water unless it's flowing - like a river or stream
@@MrBellasaurus yeah mine are running fine. water seems pretty still to me, it is technically a river/stream though so maybe the generators are counting it even though it doesn't look like its moving lol
How to do that arch roof setup. im having a hard time with the clippings

The game only lets me complete two arch roofs on opposite ends of each other. The other sides only let me put half of the arch ceilings on. Anyone notice this happening to them? @Glitchiz

@@GamerzFaiths just found out that you can hide wires on other peoples bases as well so that was a bit of misinformation, just open build menu in someone else's territory and it works so it seems to be completely client sided.
