Stunning engineering. Gearing a four wheel drive with two different size wheels is not easy, especially for a guy in a shed. The Nobel prize has been awarded for less.
Simple is always best! I like that you didn't over think the application. Looks like a very sturdy build that will strike awe in those who are fortunate enough to see it first hand. Kudos!

Front axle is from an MTD 4 wheel steer. It takes a lot of work to build a project like that. Did you run a belt from the transaxle to the front axle to power the front axle?

Seen this in tractor magazine !. I have a green tract, it has brigs and Stratton engine , It looks like a wheel horse , did they have liscense deal with other makers ? It is just 3 speed and reverse
Wheel horse built in Belgium for over 10 years. They badged some as Norlett, they were Briggs engines and 3 speed peerless gearboxes.
This one is a 10hp Kohler with 8 speed (low and high ratio)
Figure out a way to use a deck or a sickle bar and make it usefull
Very nice. I've got a wheel horse, just can't seem to find anything on the year or make. It's id number is 3211BX02. There's also another, smaller number under that, which says: 7264. I can't find anything on it.
It's a model 211-5 made in 1988. Here's the parts list from Toro:

it does 11mph on the road, I have a snow plow but it won't clear the axle now.

If you want to use a vehicle on the public highway in the uk then it needs a licence plate
