- In this video I'll show you GTA HD universe cars that matches best to old 3D universe cars irrespective of their names. Name of cars might not match but their real life counterparts has to be same.

This is the definition of excepting period accuracy. For example, there was no Viper in the 80s, so you can't except it to be Challenger in VC.
yeh, I think everybody who has slightest knowledge about GTA cars know this already... also viper was replaced by corvette in VC.
also SA: Has a 2004 Ford GT and a Supra A80 *made in 1993, a year prior to the Event to SA*

I’m honestly a heavy fan of the Pheonix in GTA. I’ve had one when I started playing GTA Online, which I still have in a garage somewhere, in a clean set uo
Some errors:
Infernus is a Vector M12
Sabre is a Oldsmobile 442 70
3D Virgo is a Mercury Cougar 77 (acctualy The Remington is a Lincon Continental)
Vector M12 used the Diablo as a base.
No Sabre has decently more resemblance with the Chevelle 70 than the Oldsmobile 442
@@Raap123 Yep, but it used to be "Classique Sabre Turbo" therefore and olds mixed with a Chevelle could be the answer. The cutlass 442 is the closest it gets. Also in GTA IV the stallion was a "Classique" Stallion, it retains the emblems in gta v.
I'm still pissed the Stratum had pretty awesome customization in SA and in GTA V customization was null. Car deserved better.

Yeah, some cars in GTA V/IV are not matching logically by the brand.
Yeah, Rockstar mess them up, Although HD & 3D Universe are different but some cars don't even match in same universes.
Sad Rockstar decided to delete cars from GTA V. I can’t remember many of them. But those you showed here are awesome

Chevy Caprice and Chevy Impala SS are basically the same car just with different trim models, grille, emblems, interior, and different gearing slightly. Impala SS was the higher trim model with a sport look and wheels. Caprice look like your grandma's car in the driveway.

The Caprice also had the LT1 Corvette engine 5.7L V8 with 260hp as well like the Impala SS which alot of people don't know. The 94-96 Chevy Caprices had the LT1 engine option.
GTA 3 Sentinel, and Oracle XS Is also a good match.
Admiral & Schafer also but I still avoided such matches

It’s interesting that the SA jester has near identical proportions to a real mk4 supra, whereas the Jester classic in V looks kinda goofy and squished.
The sound of GTA engines from the 3D era was better than the HD era

6:14 The Sabre look more like a 70-72 Cutlass 442. I miss the Hakumi in GTA 4 . Look like a 82 Honda Accord

Although the Decclase Sabre is a Chevelle it has hints of an 1979 Oldsmobile cutlass . Obviously the stallion was made to look more like a cutlass but at the same time it doesn't.

2:01 i’am surprised you say it’s based on the R32 and not R34. Lots of people get mixed up with it, even after years. Yes it has the Paul Walker livery from F&F 1 (not exact) but placed differently and on a different Skyline
yeah it always looked closer to R32 imo... we don't have another choice for Paul Walker skyline builds..so this is best we have

How cool! I love retro cars ^,^. I think Stratum from HD universe looks more like a Nissan Skyline (front) and a Subaru Impreza wagon (rear).
I don't play GTA V anymore but I still watch videos; I'd love if Rockstar could add a DLC with retro cars. I loved that they featured both Ford Thunderbird (Fortune) and Mercury Cougar (Bravura) in SA. I wish they could bring back that car and others like the Solair (which would be like Ford Taurus/Mercury Sable 1st gen/Ford Escort/Mercury Tracer from 90s in SA, and Mercury Sable 3rd gen in GTA IV).
One thing that annoys me about the Jester... They messed up the lore by calling the Supra a "Dinka Jester Classic" in GTA Online. In the HD universe, the Dinka Jester is a modern Honda NSX, so the Jester Classic should've been an original 90's NSX. They should've called the HD universe Supra something else, and had it made by Karin (the Toyota/Subaru equivalent in GTA). Dinka is Honda in GTA, so in the Jester Classic we effectively have a Honda Supra in the game now.
Although, both universes are different but they didn't need to mess up vehicle lore...HD Jester could've been named Dinka Nexus & then they would have had Supra as Jester without breaking lore.
@@SD1ONE Exactly, it could've gone either way. I think they should've called the NSX a Nexus, and then left the Jester name free for when they eventually added the Supra, and just call it the Jester instead of the Jester Classic.

HD Virgo and SA Remington are also pretty alike
For all those vehicles I've seen there is one that is completely missing, which is The Landstalker. With it being a Lincoln Navigator, the best choice would be the GTA LCS Landstalker. That matches.

Also the 3d universe cars are indeed different from the hd universe cars because one it’s set in different location. Mostly countries if anything. Two they could’ve changed design and names depending on the countries laws and regulations. Even some car brands gain access to countries depending on regulation.
They all set in USA, so not different countries at all...GTA III & IV are set in Libery City i.e. New York in real life...GTA SA & V shares Los Santos i.e Los Angeles in real life...even upcomming GTA VI shares Miami based Vice city from GTA VC...One thing you could argue that they're different universes but not different countries.
The best thing is that several are in gta IV as well

Technically it's cuz the Impaler SZ is an Impala not a Caprice, although both with pretty much identical
They aren't in the same universe, they don't need to follow the same continuity.
Why would a japanese Manufacture like Dinka would make a vehicles based of an American car? Wouldn't make sense at all.
Sentinel Classic in V is a E30 M3.
Such a great video idea, I loved the Greenwood they have in GTA V it is different from GTA SA but still looks like it's inspired by the old iconic Greenwood and it has Imani tech in the HD universe which is pretty cool
I do like GTA V greenwood but its dodge based while original one was not dodge for sure atleast...I wish they would've named it something else other than greenwood.
The Sabre has resemblences of the 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme specifically at the rear, tail lights mostly.

The front end might have a little Buick but the rest of the car is all Oldsmobile especially the tail lights. Even the name sabre is a play on words as a cutlass is also a type of sword

IMO Closest to the III Infernus is the XJ220, so the most similar car would be Ocelot Penetrator.
3D Virgo most looks like Mercury Cougar 1977-1978. Check it. Year when Cougar became land yacht, not a muscle car already.

They fucked the sound for the Faggio in gta V. 3D universe had a classic 2 stroke sound which is realistic. Also in GTA V they put the wrong engine sound types on some cars. Testarossa should have a V12 sound not a V8 sound.

Something went wrong with Range Rovers there as V got a separate “brand” not Vapid
It likely has to do with ford selling the land rover range rover brand to Tata in real life between the making of the games, so it makes more sense to not have them be the same company in game anymore

Serrano is from GTA 4 TBOGT and Rebla has a successor in GTA 5.

@@novawolf_gaming got no clue who that company is, so I know they aren’t/weren’t driven in 1992 Los Angeles. But the Chevrolet Camaro was. Because of graphics they probably couldn’t texture the back window and t body right so they just left it like the base game one.

Might as well change the title to GTA IV and GTA V cars that matches best with 3D universe cars since you also show vehicles from GTA IV, not just GTA V.
Only few cars from GTA IV, originally this video was going to be titled HD universe cars that matches best with 3D universe but that was too long so I went for a bit simpler title.
@@SD1ONE that really isn't too long just because the word universe is a long word, and is also a lot more accurate which also makes it just as simple. this isn't really a big deal, just saying because little things really bother me, that's why comparison videos like these are my kind of thing to watch.
