      As a great man once said “Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.” - Quote By: Winston Churchill, former Prime Minister of Great Britain of United Kingdom. | Fun Fact: Winston Churchill has Autism. He often spent time in a quiet room to do painting which is what he felt was relaxing to him. Most, or maybe all of us Autistic people, enjoy solace in a quiet room while doing something constructive such as photo editing, video editing, painting, reading, writing or a science project. Other Famous Autistic people are listed at warrenwoodhouse.tumblr.com/tagged/listoffamousautisticpeople

      I love these quotes too. I’m fond of the quote from Uncharted 3. Apparently, Naughty Dog has just recently released a higher quality version of these classic gems along with all their DLCs and additional contents for the PS5. I believe it’s called Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.

    I like how each game covers the story of a particular sailor/explorer
    Drake's Fortune : Sir Francis Drake
    Among Thieves : Marco Polo
    Drake's Deception: Thomas Edward Lawrence
    A Thief's End : Henry Avery

      Same. I think that’s one of the many reasons for why I love the Uncharted series. They could always make a prequel featuring an early rendition of Sully on the search of a mysterious artefact, that would be pretty cool.

      @@warrenwoodhouse Same. What's special about the story of Uncharted games is that as you go further into the game, you are being told 2 stories at the same time. Story of Nate and his friends in the present times, and the story of Drake/Marco/Lawrence/Avery from hundreds of years ago.

      @@olekcholewa8171 Yep and in the case of the third game *!!spoiler!!* , you look into the past of Sully and Nate and even take control of a young Nate during a short mini prequel. That was quite heartwarming and so was the mini game of Crash Bandicoot in the fourth game. Think there’s a secret cutscene if you actually complete the Crash Bandicoot level without dying or failing.

      @@warrenwoodhouse Im preety sure its impossible to beat Elena's score and not die when you play Crash Bandicoot as Nate but you can do it as Cassie in the epilogue. These games are just so amazing. Especially 4. It's genuinely one of the best games ever made.

My favourite game ever is Mass Effect 2 and my favourite games in my childhood were Pandemonium!, Pandemonium! 2, Oddworld: Abe’s Odyssey, Cool Spot and Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer (interestingly, the remake uses the American name for the second game rather than the European name of Gateway to Glimmer).

Yes I’ll jump back into that at some point. Just at the start of the COVID lockdown, PlayStation Store released UNCHARTED: The Nathan Drake Collection digitally for free. I’m not sure if it’s free now though.

    It took me 3 times playing this game in 2 years (also because i love the trilogy) and a Wiki fandom description of Sir Francis review, in order to realise he travelled to that island twice, so... figure out now the true meaning of this intro

    • @warrenwoodhouse
      @warrenwoodhouse  Před 3 lety

      Sir Francis Drake, Sir Walter Raleigh, Marco Polo and John Dee were explorers that discovered new worlds and new lands in the name of her majesty Queen Elizabeth I. Marco discovered Shambahala (sacred ancient lost city), Drake was a daring pirate who discovered many new lands, Raleigh took a stand against the advancing Spanish Armanda and John Dee is the original 007 (the actual logo was with two large 00’s and a 7 with the 7 stretching over the 00’s) - the logo represented “Her Eyes”, as in the famous quote “For Her Eyes Only” - considering the fact that John Dee was advisor to the Queen at the time.
      The quotes were famous quotes by famous figures that played important roles when they were establishing new worlds and chartering new waters. 😀🤓

    • @warrenwoodhouse
      @warrenwoodhouse  Před 2 lety

      @@Clout301 Personally speaking, slaves and trade routes caused a lot of problems for everyone. It’s not Queen Elizabeth’s fault. Most of the people who were in charge of overseeing slaves weren’t following the law at the time, known as the Code Noir (Code Black?). It was meant to make sure that slaves were compensated fairly for their travels, for labouring and for living. Yet, none of these were met correctly and slaves were dishonourably hurt.
      Speaking of this, slavery goes further back into human history as far back as war does. Egyptians had slaves building pyramids and some of the pyramid architects didn’t treat their slaves with care.
      You touched on an important subject and one that I want to remind everyone on here about.
      We are all different and all equal.
