The room is definitely bigger than NCL solo cabin. The bed is definitely smaller than NCL solo cabin
Next time you get that cabin all you have to do is ask for a roll away bed, but you can keep it in place for the duration of the cruise it will look just like the bed in the room. I did that when I 1st started cruising in the 90s

We recently just got back in to cruising after 9 years and it feels great to cruise again!
I had the exact type cabin on Magic but on deck 6. I was solo so it was perfect. Everything worked and was super clean.

I would just be afraid of getting quarantined and having to stay in such a small cabin with no outside contact like a window or balcony etc.
I am going on my first cruise with my girlfriend in August and we are on Deck 1 as well.

The first cruise I took was an inside cabin I was so claustrophobic thankfully it was only 4 days Carnival could have given you an upgrade since sailing is not at full capacity
I had an inside cabin on the Magic on the 10th floor I loved it

Totally tiny but super CUTE! If you don’t mind me what did you guys pay for that together? I’m used to balconies on the mega ships, but I’d be down to go on more cruises for sure! I’ve never been on a carnival, but I live in Jacksonville and they’re switching out the Ecstasy for the Carnival Spirit.
I’m not sure how much they paid but my husband and I are doing a 5 day on this ship in October and the total was $493 for an inside cabin, 2 beds on the floor! Not sure how we got such a good deal but I’m not questioning it 😂😂
Chris got screwed, I got last cabin interior king bed aka 2 put together and it is on 8th floor aft. $699 to Hawaii 15 days both of us
No chance of getting screwed in that closet.

At least your room looked cozy you will know each other very well by the end of this cruise lol Who cares about the room your on a ship. Its too bad with all the empty rooms they won't upgrade people now that would be good customer service!

What room was that on that ship? Ir what would it be called?
Category 1A or A1 and is a Bunk bed cabin its on most of Carnival cruise ships you can get it on different floors. You can also ask them for a roll away bed and keep it, it will look just like a normal inside cabin then.
I would have called to ask for a chair
Was you minifridge cool? I've been on 3 cruises in the past 3 months b/w Carnival and Royal and none of my minifridges were cool.
I had the same problem on RCCL and the steward gave me a card to put in the slot while I was out of the cabin which keeps the electricity on and the fridge stays cool. You can also use a cruise card from a previous cruise.
I don't think I've ever had a properly cool fridge on any ship ever lol
I had no idea...never thought about the fridge going out when the lights do... crap!
@@SeaCruisers I am diabetic and it is important for the fridge to be cool for my insulin, so I was quite pleased when told about this. I was also told that if I am on a newer ship where the cabin power is controlled by the main cabin door and turns off when you leave your cabin, the cabin steward can arrange for the fridge to remain on permanently. I have not yet tested that theory.
So,the person that sleeps on the top bunk cant see the tv
It is so small that I think the bottom bunk would be too far away to see the tv.

This is horrible! Why on Earth would any couple want this cabin?
Definitely not designed for couples. My mom and I cruised together when I graduated college and had a bunk room. It was fine for us! Would be fine for teens or young adults too but my husband and I definitely didn’t pick that for our next cruise! Though we only paid $20 more for a king bed haha
