Nope - for a few years now I’ve thought he would be the obvious choice to take over should Klopp leave. I’m old , I remember we always used to promote from within , we knew who the next manager was …Paisley, Fagan, Dalgleish, Souness, Evans.
Can't believe the club didn't offer him the manager job he knows the club, he knows the players and he knows the style of play. It's a no brainer for me.
He may not have wanted it. Sometimes assistant managers are supposed to be assistant managers and they enjoy being in that role. Stepping up to be the actual manager is a huge step up.

You can see from everything he says and how he talks, and from his facial expressions, how much he doesn't want to leave. A man's heart is broken. I think more and more that the owners played a lot of role in this. I'm not saying that Klopp was lying about not having enough energy anymore, he was certainly being honest, but I simply have the feeling that something else is hiding behind the door and not just energy thing.

I knew the day would come soon that Jurgen leaves, however I always imagined Pepijn stepping up and taking the club even further. WHAT a man, we'll certainly miss you, Pep.
This man should be our next manager. He does not have to leave with Klopp. If the board can push more I believe he could be the next manager.

Pep was the right person to be the manager of Liverpool after klopp departure i hope he come back afterward when he feel ready and i know he will thrive as a manager of any football team
You can see from everything he says and how he talks, and from his facial expressions, how much he doesn't want to leave. A man's heart is broken. I think more and more that the owners played a lot of role in this. I'm not saying that Klopp was lying about not having enough energy anymore, he was certainly being honest, but I simply have the feeling that something else is hiding behind the door and not just energy thing.
