Seeing you Débora There's nothing you can't do in skating. It's amazing, it's just a shame I can't be closer to teach me.
I skate with a friend often and it's a lot of fun, it's all about being in rhythm and knowing how to move together. One of our biggest issues was trying figure out what the other one was doing. It's good to have a designated partner who you're comfortable skating with and after a few times, it'll come together. Happy Skating Yall.

I would love a couples lesson with learning how to step at the same time! Every time I’ve couples skated the leader always wants to keep our steps in time with each other and I get nervous having skates that close! I’ve almost tripped two 60 year old men now HELP 😂

Team skating. For example, the Chase Waltz and Delicado were originally written for a team. Traditionally, the lady starts backwards on a face to face dance.

Skating is just skating. Find a style / rhythm that works for you & have fun.

@@wiesejay Plan a date, grab your skates, hold hands, and have fun. Once you’re in sync with each other, the flow will come natural, and you’ll find a style that works for you. There is no “leader” per se. One person will naturally guide the other. Think of it as a dance.
Start skating with your partner. As you do, you will naturally find out that one of you will like to guide the other as one of you prefers to follow. You can find your own flow.
Leader =\= binary. What someone else said... Skating is skating. A leader would be the one comfortable with leading regardless of sexuality and gender. I truly don’t understand why gender has anything to with learning how to technically do these moves and transitions. Just skate with your partner and apply leader/follower to yourselves as appropriate. 🛼
