Today I am writing this as I am utterly amazed by OLA EV department.
I have an OLA S1 which I purchased on 2023 in the month of February. It comes with 3years warranty too.As I work in Pune I bought OLA as it is economical. On the month of October I, due to an emergency had to go back to my hometown Kolkata, as I had to move immediately. I came back after 1-2 months the Ola was not working neither the any charge was left. After many many calls and attempts to reaching out to the team finally I got a reply. After seeing the situation, the team is saying that just because I did not keep it on vacation mode the battery got damaged and I need to bear the amount totally and it will not be covered under warranty. The amount is Whooping 68000/-
When buying the Ola ev I was never told that if I do not keep it to vacation mode the battery will be permanently damaged. As I live alone in Pune I did not have any point of contact who I could rely on. My Scooty is under warranty, it has not even crossed a year neither 5k kilometres. Can the company not cover it? How is this my fault when one can clearly see the situation I am in. What to do?
My suggestion is to go on twitter and post your story, tag Ola Electric and the CEO! hopefully social media team will follow up and help you with this!
Actually they are playing.. no rat bite, they wanted you to believe it’s a rat bite so that they may extort more money from you

This Rat bite incident is common for every bikes (4/6), May that was an intentional scratch made by OLA to wiring system
I feel they should make a better casing for the wiring system
All these scooter have rat bite, snake bite, dog bite and finally few owners bit themselves frustrated with this scooter.

my scooter also got dead today whenever i am pressing power button it is getting switched off. i leave in village i don't know how it will go to servicing center

Rat bite for mine, Its same for me, took more than 1month ICICI insurance. Vehicle not reported to garage. Almost 12,000/- , 7K for wiring 4k for throttle control. Was able to claim 9500/- balance I needed to pay.
Great that you got your insurance claim, I was in a hurry to travel to the US so did not have the time to follow up. I guess it is the ola service team who don’t report it properly to the insurance company.

@@writewithsneha I would suggest you to pay for Ola care plus (if you don’t have one), and also register a complaint through the app (emergency).
Make sure to add and the information and tweet, tag Ola electric and CEO!
Hopefully social media team will call/respond you even before the service people.
My scooter is also dead in just 10 days.
I understand it’s a very bad situation, my advice is to pay for Ola care + if you don’t have one and then request for an emergency service from the ola electric app

We raised a request for claim n called the service centres nearby. They sent an inspector after a month he then found out its the same issue as ur, rat chew the wire.we called for pickup and assistance but no response its more than two months now. We even posted it on Twitter but the calls and attention was given only for a few days and they all said "we'll talk to our higher ups and will inform you shortly".
Even I went through the same problem, I suggest you to post more tweets with photos. This will really help

Sir in my scooter some abnormal vibration happened then the vehicle shot down and the service people came and picked up my vehicle, the service person said sir battary need to change it will take 15 days, now it's almost 45 days still my vehicle is not ready, what to do.
Start tweeting, use twitter and tag ola electric. Also share the tweet link in the comments. I will also try to retweet it again.
That is the only way they are going to speed up the process.

My ola s1 pro gen 1 battery level was at 88% as after normal usage. I didn't use the bike yesterday . Today when I was trying to on the scooter , it is not turning on. It's getting connected via app and the scooter is getting connected via Bluetooth and if trying to on the scooter through app , it's giving unable to turn on the scooter . Tried resetting the scooter , still didn't work. Similar to problem that you faced . So now I have filed complaint in the ola electric app. Waiting for the response from them . Additionally I have ola care plus plan .
@@noornaghma4531 hopefully it’s just a fuse issue. If service team doesn’t call you I would suggest you to tag ola electric and tweet on twitter. Social media team responds fast.

I got the same issue on day 1 of delivery,
And today am commenting on day 2 evening, till any help or technician not came, and bike is in the middle of the road side parking, from 2 days. Am really scared of there service. #olaelectric
Yes, ola definitely has to improve its service! Make sure to buy extended warranty and ola care plus

@@AVAutoTech I opened the trunk. Removed the fuse and put it back. It worked and it started. Will take it to service centre when I will get the time

Ola is worst product. Don't purchase it. It develop lot of snag. Even a new delivered scooter developed problems. Their service is very poor. They don't have enough service shops and service technicians. So ola didn't care about service and takes more than 1 week to 3 months to attend service. So if u want to waste your money and time proceed to buy ola.
Totally agree with you, they need to focus of service network!
