Lyrics:
Spendin' too much time away
I can't stand another day
Maybe you think I've seen the world
But I'd rather see my girl
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, bom, bom, bom bom bom
Home, bom, bom, bom, back home
Yes, I am
All those letters every day
Are maybe alright in their way
But I'd love to see your face
When I get home in their place
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, bom, bom, bom bom bom
Home, bom, bom, bom, back home
Yes, I am
Alright
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, bom, bom, bom bom bom
Home, bom, bom, bom, back home
Yes, I will
When you're three thousand miles away
I just never sleep the same
If I packed my things right now
I could be home in seven hours
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home, bom, bom, bom bom bom
Home, bom, bom, bom, back home
Yes, I will
Yes, I will
See my baby, see my baby
I want to see my girl
I just can't wait, I just can't wait
I just can't wait, I just can't wait
I just can't wait, I just can't wait
I just can't wait, I just can't wait
I just can't wait
I'll see my baby
She'll make me feel alright
My, my, my, my, my
My, my, my, my, my
My, my, my, my, my
Gotta, gotta, gotta, gotta
Gotta see my baby
She'll make me feel so good
She'll make me feel alright
Alright, alright, alright, alright
Yes she does
In the middle of the night
So good, so good, so good, so good
So tight, so tight, so tight
I feel alright
Feel alright
Come on baby
I'm gonna there
I'm gonna get home
I'm gonna get home
Gonna get home babe
I'm gonna get home babe
I'm gonna get home baby
Get home honey, get home
Shucks
I feel alright
My baby
I'm lookin' for my baby
I'm gonna go in the early morning, baby
Early in the morning
Early in the morning
Gonna catch that plane
I'm gonna catch that plane
Now it won't be long, I said
Listen to me
It won't be long
I know, I know
I know it won't be long baby
It won't be long
It won't be long
It won't be long
Long, long
A long, long time since I've seen my baby
Yes it is
It's such a, such a, such a
Such a, such a, such a long long time
Long long time
Long long time
Long long time
Long long, long long time
Yes it is,
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
I feel alright
I'm gonna see my baby, one more time
I get, get home, get home
Gotta get home baby
I gotta get home baby
Ooh, I want to see my darling
Want to make sweet sweet love
Sweet sweet love
Sweet sweet love
Sweet sweet sweet love to you baby
In the middle of the night
Early in the morning
Early in the morning
Early in the morning
Early in the morning
In the midnight hour
She'll make me feel so good
She'll make me feel alright
She'll make me feel so good
So good
So good
When she touch my hands
And that's all I gotta say
'Cause I'm gonna pack my bags
Oh come on
I want to see you baby
See your face
See your face
Your pretty little smile
Your pretty little smile
Your pretty little smile
Your pretty little smile
Your pretty little smile
Your pretty clothes
Hear you talk
Hear you talk
Hear you talk
Hear you talk
Uh, I hear talk and talk
Come on
Come on
Come on
Come on
Come on
Come on
I'll see my baby
I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home
I'm goin' home
I'm gonna get out
I'm gettin' out
I'm gettin' out
Gettin' out
Gettin' out
Gettin' out
I feel so good
Seein' your face
Makin' love to you baby
Yes it makes me feel so good
Inside
Inside
Inside
I feel so good inside
Feel so good inside
I feel so good inside
Come on touch me one more time
Touch me one more time
Touch me one more time
Touch me, one more, one more
Come on little girl
You may look sweet, you may look sweet
But I know you ain't
But I know you ain't
But I know you ain't

Funny you should mention such
You are the man...!!!
Sam thank you for your service and welcome home
Such a cool memory.
Cheers, man!
Mick is the best frontman of this planet, or not?
People often say they only love the first part of it. But I love the whole song because it's pure improvisation by Stones. It's like jam session, the guys just kept playing and Mick was singing like stream of consciousness. I love it and never get tired listening it no matter how long it was. You just want it keep going.
The magic begins after the first part 💫
I agree. I love this song too-all 11 minutes of it. It’s unique and dreamlike.
Even after 55 years, one of my favorites …. It could go on and on …..
It was a unique experimental piece. A Jam session put on record for 8 minutes, out of the Total 11 30"
🥰
First time listening to it. Undisputedly,it’s the stones sounds that I like.
Really. In 73 & this was & is a great song.👅👅👅👅💨💨💨💨
Greatest "instrument" in this song - Jagger's voice - Awesome!
I’ve been a fan since I was 8 (1969) and Micks at his best improvising and jiving.
He’s always been great at improve and stretching and bending words. He’s almost better that way. I’ve been a fan since I was 6 ( older siblings) 1967 and he’s so good at just winging it
This cannot sound bad. And as good as it is . . . LISTEN to the VINYL . . . If you only listen to one record, listen to this song. There is a whole other world, buried deep down in the grooves. It's like walkin' into the studio while they are playin'. Pure stuff . . . a perfect example of why the Stones are the best (anything) band.
This song was the call of hope for every Viet Nam Veteran.
I listened to this a thousand times back in '67 or whenever it was. This is Mick at his best, it's his song. It was the first extended time improv song in rock.
Brian jones was amazing with the rolling stones so creative
Chills.. Brian Jones-Era Stones Rule Foreva.
Hi. Aftermath was the first album I ever heard by the Rolling stones. Back in 1972. I now have every Album and Single they have every done. I think they are the Best Band in the World... Yours Cliff
do you know the stones-fan-museeum in my neigberhood ?
Love the old stones with Brian jones👍
RIP Brian!
Amen!
Brian’s sublime harp sound.
Actually a dub from Mick. Only learned that recently. Brian's on guitar.
@@JeanMarieMessa That is Brian on harmonica. I am looking at my Aftermath album right now and Brian is playing the harmonica.
@@musiclover3205 I don't want to argue here. To be honest, it sounds so good it's close to what Brian did at the time. Not Jagger (yet). So my ears disagree with what my eyes read in the sessions book. Plus Wikipedia says Brian as well.
Incredible what Mick was doing with his voice in this great song. Mick at his best.
hard to believe Brian wanted to get rid of him. Mick is a gem. Not the strongest voice in music history but one of the most versatile and charismatic.
@@Mirabella76 Definitely versatile! ⚘
I love The Rolling Stones!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
morceau extraordinaire pour 1965 que je n avais pas écouté depuis 40 ans et dont d'autres groupes ont puisé l'inspiration ( doors, steamhammer)
1966 ... the album aftermath ... one of the greatest Stones album and of this year ... every song is good and this one is very special ... not many bands played a 11 minutes jam at that time !!
One of the hidden and forgotten gems of the early Stones. And one of my favorite songs of them..
Mick Jagger's improvisation and flow were just unreal here.
Thanks to all the people who created this amazing video!
The Stones invented the 10min rock jams with this song, the Doors and Hendrix would later popularize them. Aftermath is a very overlooked album, it is their first excellent record. They would later trip over in 1967 with their failed attempt at psychedelic rock (though they gave us really good songs, specially in Between the Buttons), only to rise gloriously in 1968 with the greatest album strike in rock history, four perfect albums in a row.
I love this underrated Stones tune. I like it as much as some of their “hit” songs. 🇬🇧😊 A lot of people just think of Start Me Up or Beast of Burden when they think of The Stones, but I want to tell them, The Stones are so much more than that. Start Me Up and Beast of Burden are great songs, but there are so many other “obscure”songs by them that are just as good. What makes the Stones great is they have such a variety of musical sounds 🎶 .
I agree,absolutely.
Finally, some people that think that besides me
The Stones' Stairway to heaven.
My theme song when leaving Nam in 1971 after a year "in country"!
then again a great example of how creative they are
'68 hanging out at this afterhours club called Salvation. How ironic!
The DJ put this tune on before the last call, it was a vibe that enveloped the whole room. We were gone. Once it ended we were thrust into the dawn of Manhattan.
Loves this !! Sounds better than ever !! Rock classic ! Classic rock !!!
No, classic rock doesn't have any roll....this does. There's a difference
@@randybackgammon890 who cares. It's a classic and it's rock
@@toxicity0236 Fair enough✌️
Unbelievable 🔥💛🧡❤ MICK -MICK-MICK ❣❣❣
While we were 🎼🎸🎶, we awaited a signal to stop but no one signaled. There is a gap in the drumming at *1* point when *Keith* picked up his coat and threw it at *Charlie* but that didn't stop him for long.
*Bill Wyman, Stone Alone, 1990*
It Is a huge track. Shame it's so Underrated. When the Stones went psychedelic did some big things.
Brian Jones IS the KEY!!
@@zackzallie8735 Yes, it was his Golden Age, from 1967 he started to lose his mind 🥺
Underrated by whom?
@@matteostangalini8039 Has never been broadcasted on the air or whatever other media. Amid all Stones's works this Is unfortunately One of the less listened.
Mick shines but so does Bill Wyman. His bass line at the beginning and end are so good
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT
Bill Wyman is so integral to the Stones sound, as much as Brian's multi-instruments, Keith's guitar, Charlie's drums and Mick's vocals.
Will always love the Stones for turning me on to the blues back in '64. Love this song. Reminds me of hitch hiking through the Sierra foothills with a .22, hunting squirrels and trying to sing this note for note, waiting for the next ride. Of course, on the way home, mostly...
Die Stones waren immer die größten
To Whoever is running this channel, Thank you for what you do, this channel rocks! ✌🏼😎
I never thought of this as psychedelic. Just a long blues harp jam...couldnt have been done with out Brian !!
La escuché por vez primera a finales de 1969 y han pasado ya 51 años y por voluntad de DIOS sigo escuchando este gran tema de the Rolling Stones
A little country and a little rock n roll! Love it
No group has ever been able to produce such a wonderful rhythm really gorgeously ....
Best band in the world 🌎 🎉❤
This is Blues. The absolutely Power of Mick. All the best from Bavaria.
The longest song in stones history
Great Though!!
keep it cool from the 90s has a 25 min version on yt, most likely looped tho
Good point! How about Blow Blues?🤔
One of the longest Stones songs! Songs back then were usually 3 minutes long! The Stones were experimenting musically (and also with drugs)!
Ass Kicking Tune that's so Underrated!! Still Love it at my 58 years of existence!! My Mother turned me onto this when I was only 5 or 6 🤣
I can listen to that on ten times a day ! What a beat !
stones are the greatest rock and roll producers of our generation period
La escuché por primera vez en radio capital de la cd de México en 1982 y aún sigue sonando tan fresca está excelente canción, saludos desde Ecatepec, mexico
EXCELLENT SONG,NEVER GET TIRED OF LISTENING TO IT,THE WHOLE ALBUM, AFTERMATH,GREAT,FANTASTIC ALBUM, Walter B,Memphis 🤘☠😝
It's a masterpiece. Impossible to get tired listening
@@AndrewDardi Agree with your statement, Walter B.😛☠👆🎼💯
@@annbugbee5623 Happy for this 🙏
I agree. In my opinion Aftermath is their best album!
The Doors must've listened to this....
They did. John Densmore mentioned this song, and the Aftermath album as being a favorite of theirs.
Jim and Mick should do a dance battle. lol
@@zackzallie8735 wait till Mick dies
@@duckface524 Brian Jones must be stoned high with Morrison rn.
Great observation 👍
Pure state of rythm and blues
The harmonica in this though
Robert Plant's lemon Brian Hones on harp
ALWAYS EXCEPTIONAL THE ROLLING STONES !!!!!!!!!!
I just realized the pure genius of this song and comedy. If you have not noticed the entire song is about going home, however the song itself is 11:18 minutes, so in fact he really does not wanna go home through the sheer determination of the song to keep going. My insanity may be showing however.
Gleichwertig dem „Bolero“ von Ravel!
Единственная группа не распавшаяся. The Rolling Stones FOREVER!!! Основатели РИТМ AND БЛЮЗА!!!
This is awesome! I hope they do a video for every song on Aftermath. They're almost there!
je connaissais pas ce morceau des STONES vraiment génial merci CZcams

ANOTHER GREAT FROM AFTERMATH THE BEST ALBUMS STONES EVER DID
Wow this is going back a bit, not in my top 20 stones hits but a catchy pop song nevertheless, great riffs and melodies by Brian and Keith
CAN'T Wait TOO
I really love this song, it makes feel so good.
Lol. How could it not. 👅👅👅👅💨💨💨
I'm just hoping they make videos for between the buttons, my personal favorite stones album
Esta canción me recuerda mi primer pasmo de mota alucinante
Only one time The Rolling Stones interpreted this theme live and only one portion of the song, in 1967 at the Olympia Theater in Paris.
That would have been something amazing to witness
From the sixties... Rarity... Good sound record! (H)
Love it
Stones, keeping America great!
The Doors did The End, another great long song. But this came first. Love also did a great long one but I can't remember the name of it.
Get less bluesy, and you get the Doors.
Robbie Kreiger was a great slide and blues guitarist. You can hear it on loads of stuff Moonlight Ride Roadhouse Blues. Running Blue
I have little doubt this inspired The Doors long jams and Jim's poetic ramblings. Obviously some of the great blues guys like Muddy Waters preceded this but to hear these guys go like this was something different for white boys. I remember hearing this for this first time one morning in the mid 70s when I was about 15 and I was half asleep and slowly waking. It was so intense how it filtered into my dream fugue. I remember it to this day. It really affected me.
This man could have been home by now if he didnt take so long to sing about it
Vibrato!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to skip over songs I hadn't heard of...
