If you want to maximize the grind speed, in my experience back attack crystal is better. Valtarra crystal > rebel if you pass the cap. And dont forget to put your - dp debuff in the first skill you use in your combo.
makes sense, you could probably min max even more with Pen Narc instead of disto once you have enough ap. I will have to test out the back attack crystals and see if it makes a big difference in trash and kill speed. I do love this about BDO, there are so many options to min max and improve or maximize your build for different grind zones. Makes the game more interesting. Valtarra crystal is not better then Rebelious simply because the difference which is the 5 AP against monsters counts as (if overcap) 3.5 AP against Kamasylvian which is > 3 AP that Valtarra offers. Quite the opposite, you actually gain 1 extra AP with 2 Rebelious =)

Valtarra crystals wont give you any more dmage than rebellious, so for species damage lets just treat 1 species as the equlivalent of 1 ap. So valatarra crystal gives 3 species damage, rebellious has 5 ap, however if youre past cap, thats only 70% effective. 70% of 5 is 3.5, rebellious still does more damage than valtarra past cap

Have to add to this guide, you should be pulling mobs when you have butcher buff to avoid getting the other colors, you can abuse this to clear statues faster and minmax trash

Decent guide, but you didn't say anything about back attack crystals, which are crucial in pushing kill times in this zone. I'd also suggest perfume of courage to help with clear speed of the bigger mobs, helps with more consistent rare drops. Good video. 👍
I actually haven't tested the crystal of darkness set at this spot yet. Is it better that corrupted set for crit dmg? I am pretty sure the values of each special attack modifier are the same, so the vack attack set would give you 2% more dmg while doing back attack but the you lose 22% crit dmg as well. I have actually though about making a video testing this exact subject. What are your thoughts? Also ty for watching and complimenting my work!!
Perfume of courage is like 40m each on my server lol, and ap house buffs are perma sold out, all due to ulukita zones
@@putmangaming5672 Afaik, back attack multipliers are higher than crit. But it also depends on the class. Take for instance that I play awakened woosa, her flowers can't cause back attack, but do crit. So if you're using a class that does a lot of "pet damage", crit crystals may actually be better. It would need extensive testing for sure. But most attacks in gyfin under are going to be back attacks.
Replying to myself because I was wrong. Here are the numbers from garmoth.
Back Attacks - Attacks from behind an enemy will deal 150% Damage (120% in PvP)
Down Attacks - Attacks again a grounded target will deal 150% Damage (120% in PvP)
Critial Hits - Critical hits against an enemy will deal 200% Damage in both PvE and PvP
Air Attacks - Deal 200% damage against a floating target (170% damage in PvP)
Counter Attacks - Deal 200% damage when countering an enemy (PvE only)
Speed Attacks - Deal 150% damage when moving at high speed (PvE Only)

U should run mysterious darkness crystals instead of corrupted’s down there. U should also use 1 more viper and a dark red fang-valor instead of the the 2 olocus
you think the ap is better than 2% attack speed? I haven't actually ran test personally, but i would think that since attack speed is such a rare stat it would be more value than raw ap. What are your thoughts?
What benefit do you get being in a Marni zone ?
Normally marni zone makes mobs spawn faster, but for gyfin it's mostly just for having your own personal space.
I personally go there to not be bothered by other player. I want to be the most efficient I can while grinding. Time is money and I'm not trying to waste mine with ppl trying to take my spot. But if you enjoy open world pvp then you may want to ignore Marni relm. Other than that there are no other benefits at gyfin, but some zone will spawn monster faster in Marni relm. Surprised no one is asking ‘ What do you think about Scholar compared to Maegu in this spot?’
Scholar is really good here just because of her high single target dmg. She is right on par with maegu succ. I think PA actually made a class thats not beyond broken on release and performs quite similar to other classes in the game. But I really don't think scholar was a highly anticipated class like Maegu and Woosa who completely changed the meta of the game. Now if we were talking about Maegu on release, she would destroy scholar's numbers easily. Too bad her glory days ended too soon.

I am 283 ap 339 dp and hate grinding elvia serendia, going calpheon i get 1shot, going gyfin 1shot, cant even go sycraia cos im -50000 navale fame idk how, how much ap dp needed to grind gyfin as meagu?
I would suggest hitting at least 380dp before going to gyfin. With your gear score you could always grind jade starlight forest, kratuga, or stars end. Those are all relatively good alternatives for serendia elvia and I think you should be pretty safe going there if you have the infinite hp pot. i hope this doesnt come across as rude or anything but how the actual fuck are you 283ap and only 339dp?? im following pretty standard progression and im 277/368, did you get 2x distos without any fallen god or something?
@@user-yt8kb9jk7g It's quite common tbh. Most midgame spots (including elvia) only really force you go to up to 340 DP. At this point AP gets you more silver per hour than DP. You're not thinking about endgame

I had no idea, most of my friends and guild members have followed a general progression of pen boss and jetina accessories, tet Blackstar, and then upgrades in order of expense, 17bil for fg, 24(?) For distos, while using crons for pen taps, all the people I know end up skyrocketing in dp before their AP gets too big of a boost, unless a pen BS goes. Not saying you're wrong, just that I'm surprised
@@user-yt8kb9jk7g That progression is very common as well. But you have to realize not everyone is going into gearing with the same goals or information. So plenty of people will go for things like pen crescents, tet distos, guaranteed jetina accessories, and vell hearts well before C10 armor. Igor's journal by itself also gives you more AP than DP.
Started Gyfin at 371 DP on my guardian. It's doable but kinda have to pay attention. Can't really turn my brain off here.

Oculus is human damage with most of those crystals already your attack and attack speed is already up there and with simple cron ups some of those stats than alchemy stone

Lol I actually agree with this. All he does is repeat the sane stuff from the patch notes over and over and over. People watch him bc he is consistent and punctual with his content.
