@@d4s0n282 They buffed his ult. While it may not deactivate towers as long, he can use it way more often. Top Voli can use it in lane a lot more and jg Voli can use it while ganking more often.

Yo alois love your content and how you explain in details your matchup, but when you play broken picks could you show how to counter it as well as how to play it? That would be dope. Also when is riven content coming back bro.
One thing i dont understand when people run this build.... why not just get the three item combo and afterwards get liandry nashors or riftmaker nashors... liandry for insane passive dmg since it gets procced from unending despair and riftmaker for even more damage... nashors + one of these items is basically like playing the AP volibear which goes tank after two items anyways... so if you combine it it might be even stronger than other item choices.
him not going riftmaker is actually crazy all he was doing was fighting extended fights
riftmaker is good for 10 percent damage that also increases unending despair's healing but if you go for one more ap item such as liandry or nashors they will one shot you before you have the chance to heal back so jaksco would be better in my opinion or zhonyas to refresh cooldowns while in stasis
Depends on who you're fighting. I generally go JakSho/Riftmaker or Iceborn Gaunt/Riftmaker. Really depends on the opposite team comp. Nashors is nice but you give up a lot of durability if you're not ridiculously ahead. I find lasting longer in a fight is worth it over doing a bit more damage, especially if you're the team's tank. Drain-Tank Voli is still relatively squishy if they build against you or are able to kite you around.
Rift is good yes , liandry if you are ahead is better tho... especially due to the fact how it interacts with unending despair , you have infinite loop of healing and damage without touching the enemy champion because both of them refresh each other@@king_shadow4697
Would you consider Sterak's? It gives pretty solid shielding, especially with all the health the other items give.
eclipse/sundered after spirit visage is so goated in that build

Went vs this a few games ago, he had a yuumi on top of him as well. We somehow managed to win though. I was playing seraphine support and it was super late so my W was on like a 6 second cd and I could use the empowered version every time and perma kite voli as well. Was a sight to behold
Yeah, Voli's biggest weakness is being kited. If you have good CC and he doesn't get Mercs, he's boned.

I think the heal build is a bit of a bait. Other bruiser items are simply more effective - you may lose some EHP, but you deal significantly more damage. Senna should not be allowed to exist when your ult is up, for example. CDR also has a ton of value as your W is up more often.
Spear of Shojin, Anathema's Chains, Abyssal Mask, Iceborn Gauntlet... they are all ridiculously good items on Volibear.
You can also buffer W during Q animation. You miss an auto attack reset, sure, but you get your second W much faster which is more impactful.
It's actually quite a meme build, gets completely shit on if you face anyone with % hp dmg, bork users are destroying it etc

@@enderdegeest2492 It is entirely dependent on enemy team comp and items, serpents fang, antiheal, and botrk annihilate it, and Voli's counter is still kiting out his W mark as always.
If they don't have the comp/items to deal with it he runs over them as an unkillable demon, if they do though he simply just dies once you start getting to teamfights.

IMO, more tank items are better on him. Iceborn Gaunt, Riftmaker, Jak'Sho, and Frozen Heart are optimal 5th/6th item choices depending on enemy team comp. Eclipse doesn't have HP for his W scaling and he doesn't build enough AD to make the healing from Sundered worth it compared to getting more durable and living longer in team-fights.

This setup (a bit different) on poppy is the most broken thing I've ever seen. Her early game is strong enough to not fall behind, and these items are relatively cheap.
I went against a Poppy last night (as drain-tank Voli) who did that and we had a fight that lasted around a minute. It was ridiculous. She doesn't have the sustain, though, so ultimately I won, but it was a hilarious fight.

How the hell do you deal with this monster as Riven?
Kill him early game. This build doesn't get strong until mid/late game after he's 3 items deep. Gotta shut him down early. Besides, Voli is a bit of a counter to Riven anyway.

with this build its hard to sidelane 2v1 ap usually oneshots one and finishes off other with basics. 65% ap scaling on basics with nashor tooth and passive. ap build actually pushes faster as well, towers and also minions@@JANATI8585

honestly after playing ap voli and other champs wit hhalf decent wave clear i have to say this build makes me want to perish, unless you build bami first your wave clear feels so bad later on, and you cant really build any wave clear items or even ap to help becasue all ur runes and shit are made for the "immortal" build

@@BitterswheatIt works, but I wonder if it's worth it, since you need the rabadon for the AP boost, and most games do not last that long yet.
Fimbulwinter is a huge part of the build and obviously Vlad can't get any use from it, so that hampers it massively.
Look at item stats at the end of a game running this build and Fimbulwinter is usually the highest item.

I give you a tip: Use your ult not as a damage or dive tool, you should use it as a gap closer since you dont have any dash and you still has a q through ult. Coming from former gold Voli

E is more for zoning or combo with q. It's your statcheck basically. But if you cast e from bush it's a slighly smaller window for a dodge. And maaan you need to w whenever u can for a perma heal - you were keeping it on cd in tfs.

@@monkeyassassin21 The same sort of setup as WASD. Ring finger on Q, Middle on W, Index on E/R. Pinky on shift/ctrl for hotkeys/natural resting place.
That's just the normal setup.
Pinky on Q is weird and requires an unusual hand position for no gain, the Pinky finger is just worse than other fingers from a biomechanical standpoint as well for the purposes of playing League (the index and middle fingers have a shorter reaction time).
What's the point of having your finger on shift though? I used to do shift + qwer to rank them up but the few micoseconds saved vs just hovering mouse over skill and ranking up that way hasn't been too punishing.
I like pinky on q because it's easy to transition to A for autos when right clicking is a mess (maybe behind tower, maybe they're standing on their adc) and i find better results alternating pinky between Q and A as needed. A is mostly just for farming though truth be told.

@@gabrielchiquetto8883 You have 5 people on your team, they can all build different items. Anyone can build antiheal, there are botrk users in top, jungle, mid, and adc, and any lethality user can build serpents.
This build is unkillable against comps that can't deal with it, and just *dies* against comps that can.
@@gabrielchiquetto8883 Pantheon as well. One combo and the voli is nearly dead :) these are the three items I rush as him vs this build. Super effective and you still oneshot carries with it too.
