- No Name Forever is an emotional orchestral music work composed by Ray Pherz and labeled by Epic Music World.
No Name Forever is written for symphonic orchestra, choir, piano, electric guitars and synths. The music begins with several synths that expose the main melodies and an ostinato bass that will run throughout the work. Above them voices complete the soundscape. Step by step the piece is wrapped in an epic character with the electric guitars, the symphonic orchestra and choirs, which gives the full identity to this work.

This is such an incredibly underrated arrangement, like so many others seems temporarily lost in a new and crowded world of digital music - but it can’t, and won’t stay buried for ever.
There is so much going on here, the technical proficiency of it’s composer and it’s arrangement literally seek out every possible inspiring riff and melody without being overstated or deliberately mainstream - it’s one of those rare gems that will become a timeless classic, and at 7+ minutes it even feels short, leaving the listener wanting more - every time I listen to it I hear more and more spine tingling and perfect transitions. It’s epic, it’s cinematic, inspirational, uplifting, the victory bravely fought for and won against the odds, the unexpected yet somehow predictable key changes and chorus, bridge and verse seamlessly blending into an orgasmic crescendo of synth, strings, choirs, all like a tsunami making its way to shore across the ocean floor carried in by it’s incredibly powerful This is such an incredibly underrated compositional arrangement, it, like so many others is temporarily lost in a new world of digital music - but it can’t, and won’t stay buried.

It’s epic, it’s cinematic, inspirational, uplifting, the victory bravely fought for and won against the odds, the unexpected yet somehow predictable key changes and chorus, bridge and verse seamlessly blending into an orgasmic crescendo of synth, strings, choirs, all like a tsunami making its way to shore across the ocean floor carried in by it’s powerful ostinato bassline using automated velocity dropouts to emphasise 8ths, 12ths and even 16ths without changing structure, constantly present yet never so repetitive as to break through the mix and dominate it - in fact, the changing textures and tone of the bassline make it almost almost inaudible in parts yet without it, the piece would lose it’s drive and momentum. It’s a technical masterpiece, a composition that should be revisited - it has the sustainability of something you’d expect from Hans Zimmerman, even Mike Oldfield. Musician’s only have a very limited number of ideas like this spanning their entire career, maybe one or two, more than five if writing music is your life.

Dear Ray, your emotionally charged music really spoke to me. It has a sadness to it but there is also a feeling of hope, a desire to move forward into the unknown. That ostinato bass that runs throughout is like the inner struggle or internal dialogue one encounters when standing on the edge of a precipice ready to take that much needed leap of faith into the unknown .... the music ebbs and flows like the life force within us and the heavenly voice is both a comfort and encouragement to push forward out of our comfort zone into a new phase of life.
