During the reign of Helm Hammerhand, the Rohirrim were at constant war with the Dunlendings, both sides engaged in a power struggle over who was the rightful ruler of the lands. The Dunlendings believed it was they, and they alone, who had the rights to the lands of Rohan, whilst the Rohirrim were fighting in defence of their homes and people who had dwelt there since Eorl the Young was granted these lands many decades before.

Hi guys, my name is Ewen and I am an avid fan of Mesbg. I live in Wiltshire, Chippenham and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for clubs to join or places to participate in battles or to get opinions on paintings. I have just been added to the GBHL Facebook page so have some ideas of places but have heard you are the expert! I am 15 which understandably may make it hard to join some places. I have amassed many models over a short period and have been painting them during lockdown, I have 200 models roughly now, with armies that should be able to conform to many of scenario rules, I would love to be able to play against other hobbies to when this pandemic is all over. Thank you for all your help.

Ewen Williams Hi Ewen, I was on the Battle Streams with you and good to hear you have got involved in the hobby!! It’s such a good community!
There’s a few of us based around Chippenham and we go to game in Bristol from time to time. Other than that there’s not any clubs in Chippenham from what I know.
There are plenty of pockets of people around Wiltshire and surrounding counties; from Radstock (other side of Bath), a group in Swindon, another near Salisbury and maybe a few other pockets.
