I Made a Rare Hot Wheels '56 Flashsider - HOOTERS #7 Alan Kulwicki Nascar promo ??. In today's video I take a cool Hot Wheels Pickup and do a rare Hooters Restaurants #7 Nascar design on it. I don't know anything about the design other than back in 1991 the #7 Hooters Nascar was driven by Alan Kulwicki. I assume the truck was some kind of promotional item but I cant find any information on it anyways. Today I made a replica of that Hooters Pickup form the one reference I found on ebay. I actually do remember painting that one lol. My brother and I used to have a whole little country town set up. We each had farms, hot rods, race cars, a trucking company, and so on. That one was one of my hot rods lol.

It would be cool if you were to auction off some of your cars. Maybe you could put a signed info picture card with each car and a reference to the video you restored or modified it. Each one would be a one of a kind collectable!

@@DiecastResurrection You could also raffle some off. A few dollars per ticket maybe? It doesn't price any viewer out of the market in the same way that an auction can and you could possibly get a greater return?
I think a raffle is the way to go. It'd be fair, because not everyone has deep pockets.

I actually have this original truck with no nicks or anything, I bought it brand new as a kid and never let anything happen to it cause my Dad really loved it. Hooters all the Way Bro!
Man that looks great. I remember when they had the Hooters truck at the grand opening of the restaurant here in Myrtle Beach S.C. and that looks very much like it. I went to Hooters four times before I found out that they served wings too!!!! LMAO

Since you did an Alan Kulwicki tribute truck, I think you need to do a Davey Allison tribute, With the #28 Texaco/Havoline scheme.
If he does that, he needs a Tri Five Ford pickup

If you liked that duelie car, there's a guy on CZcams building a Cuda on top of a duelie pickup frame. Check out "Off the Ranch" and "Muscle Rod Shop" to see it come together. It's pretty amazing.

Hey…tip with those decals…instead of using the paint brush to smooth them out, try rolling a cotton bud (q tip) from the centers out to remove as much of your setting solution as possible. Also, it doesn’t appear that you are using the solvent, the red bottle. If you are having problems getting them to bend around edges and bodylines, that stuff will help. It’ll also help keep those edges from peeling up!

That came out awesome! Not sure but these may have been a promotional thing, I went to Hooters in Sydney Australia not long after they opened and they had a 1:64 and a 1:18 scale version on their memorabilia wall. That's 1 US chain I don't think will last here, way overpriced ($27 AU for a burger, chips and a coke) and took nearly 30 minutes to get to the table even though there was 10 people in the place for lunch and nearly as many wait staff.
