I am back with another Rainbow High Slime doll, I just couldn’t help myself.
This time I am looking at Sunny Madison, who I think looks like the best doll of the 6 core slime dolls.
I wanted to compare Slime Sunny to her original 2020 release so we could see the evolution of Rainbow, or de-evolution depending how you see it.
Sunny is kind of the new RH It-Girl and seems to be getting the most love from the designers which I do not mind. Slime Sunny has the most gorgeous face and a stunning intricate hair style, and it does sort of make up for the loss of articulation these dolls faced.
I think the original Sunny still is so special seeing as they started off this whole craze, but seeing the two side-by-side is grounding in a way. The hysteria lately with the downfall of Rainbow High is A LOT and I think while we are losing design elements that I adored, there is still something special with these dolls.
Am I a slime convert? Maybe. Did the glitter get all over my room? Yes. But maybe it’s just Sunny Madison who’s giving me rose colored lenses, which I am okay with.

Junior High Sunny eats up all her other releases. The 2 pack version has a great outfit as well. Idk why but the new one looks dead in the eyes, but she's the best among the new wave.
If you were to only get one, get the Twin pack one. She's cute and has the best outfit and the best face. Plus, you get that adorable bear bag, and Luna is a good doll as well. I snapped her up at work the last one for $24. That's cheaper than what this one retails for.

I’m IN LOVE with these slime ones. And I love the glitter on the face, especially the gold on sunny. I wish skyler had gold glitter because even though she’s blue, there’s a warmth to her 🥰
The older dolls appearing in dollar stores are unsold dolls that retailers like Target and Walmart sold off to discount retailers like The 99¢ store and Family Dollar!
I feel like some retail employees don’t really search the stock rooms when the shelves are empty and others are super diligent!
I will be honest: i really like Sunny's new make-up, the lips are gorgeous, but the giltyer just ruined it for me personally
Her face just improved so much. I love her new version, never thought I would like the new dolls so much but I think I never really opted for Sunny but since I‘ve seen this one in store I‘m kinda enchanted haha. But she’s the only one until now but I‘m looking forward to Moonbows, the Winter line and since I‘ve seen pictures of what might be the actual dolls I probably will get one of the new Color and create dolls.
this new sunny is super pretty. i like her so mutch more than og sunny. i never liked og sunny she just never cliked with me, but all of the newer sunnys are so pretty!

and about sunny hair i think if it happened to me i would just glue the strat of the hair back to the head or the rest of the hair to not loose her tentacals. its so cute that the new one has molded baby hairs i wish all dolls have it😍
Eli, you could probably get just a body for sunny on Mercari and body switch the Slime Sunny so she will be articulated. If I if I see one for like a cheap price I'll let you know. I think you've been really fair with these dolls and I hope MGA realizes that. You're such a nice person so maybe I'll call MGA and recommend your channel to them. Yes that's how I roll LOL😂 I felt so bad when you had to cut your Sonny's hair! Maybe when you're feeling ambitious, you can reroot just those little hair parts that hang in front. If I had money, I'd send you a new one! I really appreciate you and your channel! I hope you and your fiance have a blessed New Year and that your channel goes through the roof in the new year!🎉

I enjoyed your channel watching these comparisons. I have every RH, SH and JUNIOR HIGH dolls in my collection with 1st and 2nd outfits on display. I feel that new Rainbow High reboot still perfect for young kids…we have been spoiled for three years collecting this RH dolls because these qualities was so good that fits as “collectible” theme. I don’t mind to buy them over 35.00 price range - I feel all these collectors complained --whining over the prices have dampened them in a way…that MGA shifted their focus on Bratz line right now.. I fully support MGA for buying this dolls for full prices when they first came out for my collection on 1st outfits then later to buy another one on clearances/on sale for second outfits. It’s cool to see some variations of their lips or shadows of their eyes. I have completed my RH glitter lines-they are more beautiful than the first released of 2020 dolls. I can’t wait to see their next releases later down the road - I hope they don’t get worse and worse just like Barbies with poor quality of dolls with no articulation and printed outfits with no details.

My granddaughters would have like the new slime dolls. For younger kids the fact that the hands don't come off is good, they won't get lost. As play line doll they're fine. I have enjoyed the first three year, we will where it goes from here. I did break down and bought the twins/ Sunny & Luna, I found on a small sale. I missed out on Poppy Rowan's Runway doll, hah well. I was hoping to find one after Christmas, that's not going to happen.
oh wow I think skylars pet is supposed to be a narwhale but the face is really offputting lol. I think this version of Sunny is super cute, but maybe i'm just a sucker for tinsel hair. Great review as always!
I really love the new dolls. They're SO cute imo, I guess I'm one of the ONLY adults who thinks the slime and glitter makes sense ( which it does) cuz they're going back to their roots

The new face mold & hair style is way better, that's all though. I have the same face mold with my 2 pack with Luna.
This video just made me giggle watching you fight with the glitter! And really the tendrils? So sad. The new Sunny is very pretty and I like her outfit. Not into the slime but enjoyed watching you play. 😂
I love the face on this new Sunny. I might just use some ModPodge to paint a layer of glitter on the inside of the shoes and bag and forego the whole slime activity.
I think the Slime Sunny with the gold tinsel in her hair would look AMAZING with Sunny's gold sequin dress from the sunny/luna twin pack

I actually prefer slime Sunny over original Sunny. I just never liked the bangs. My favorite is from the Sunny and Luna set.

At first i wasn't sure about the new dolls, but I might end up getting some.
I saw a review of skylars slime doll and ive never particularly liked her but i thought her screening looked incredible! Also the swim violet looks amazing and i never liked violet so i do think these dolls are pretty even though they aren't necessarily my cup of tea
I think out of everyone sunny always eats most of the releases

I LOVE the new designs, if they got rid of the stupid fucking slime feature and the animals, and have worst articulation, i would be SOLDD on the soft reboot. Shame they’re targeting kids more, as a kid I would’ve much preferred the darker edgier style dolls however I do love the new sunny design over the old one 100%

If i was a kid and i got the slime doll as a gift my mother would kill me lol 😂All in all , i think it's cute but i do not like the way the glitter slime looks on the sides of the shoes. I really love glitter but i don't think i could handle it on my hands lol 😂I hate it when i get peanut butter on my hands so i can't imagine glitter and slime. I do like the slime Sunny but not the glitter face.I do love the way they did her hair It looks really pretty. I don't know 🤔I am on the fence about this one maybe if she goes on sale. I really miss the second outfits ☹ So weird because i usually love glitter.I don't know how to deal with washing tinsel hair either. Do you have a video on that ? Anyway, thanks for the review☺💛💛

Yeah it’s a cool concept but the execution fell flat with the slime. You could probably fill the shoes with the miniverse resin and make a goldfish bowl!
I think the new rebrand Sunny is so pretty but the rehashed outfit and tinsel are keeping me away. I will definitely get the swim & style Sunny, I plan on rebodying her onto an OG body. The eye makeup, red lip, and hime cut are just so cute and the taiyaki purse? Perfection. Happy new year btw!💚
Yeah the tinsel is a lot but I think it’s kind of pretty when it’s done right. And I’m with you, the swim Sunny was designed so well! And Happy New Year as well!!

I probably would just toss out the slime and put some glitter glue of the same color inside the shoes instead. I see some gold glitter hot glue sticks on Amazon that might work.

Don't leave the slime in the shoes it's probably gonna get moldy or dry and crusty

The shoe is dumb, cause you can't even really fill it & make it pretty & sparkling, if you can't put much in there. Did they even test these out ? 😂

Everytime you touched the dolls with your glitter covered hands, I cringed inside.
I was actually opening an old rh and a newer one today. I really prefer the rectangular boxes. The rounded plastic of the old packaging is kind of annoying in terms of disposal and overall a little tricky to handle.
I'm not too interested in anybody else, but I think I'll pick up this sunny when she goes on sale. The slime powder is going straight to the trash, though!
I do think it's really interesting that sh 3 has been on sale basically since its release, but the current rh collection has stayed at that $25 point all this time.
Yes she is def worth picking up I’d say! And yea it is strange, I still need Priscilla and Kim but they just don’t go on sale 🫠

New faces minus the glitter are better, saying otherwise it's arguing in bad faith. The thing is- they had three years worth of dolls to perfect a good mold. Every other aspect of these new dolls feels like a downgrade to me.
I really HATE the glitter! Micro plastics should NOT be given to children! I really thought that they where NOT supposed to use glitter on children's toys anymore 🙄 and you know how much of those are going to go into our water reserve...NOT COOL MGA!!!
Oh I agree all the way! The glitter is just a terrible idea across the board, I hope it’s a one and done and we don’t see it used again in the future
i don't think this a fair comparing you got a really bad 1g doll and the new glitter doll. 1 g sunny is really beautiful and much better quality. i have all the dolls, and there is no doubt that theses new dolls are not to compare with was we use to get...and odther problem are they might not be available in eu because of the chemical in the slime and glitter we have a strictpoliticsabout harmful chemicalin products special childres toy.. another youtuber said the lose glitter could end up in your lungs, thats a frighteningly theory
So sad that THE LITERAL (COMING FROM PROBABLY THE MOST MONSTER HIGH OBSESSED PERSON ON EARTH, though not anyway near happy with g3 as I felt the same about g2 MH as well besides Ghouls Beast Pet Cleo who was, or is, of great quality and is beautiful) doll line e.g. RH/SH are just totally ruined. I mean first of all what the heck is up with the LITERAL glitter just stuck and smacked on their faces, not to mention the same outfits redone, CHEAPLY, on top of just IDK MAN blech. #WasteofMoney
