- Hey hey it swap meet day. Swap meets are back on post everything that has happened and what a bumper weekend for them with Ballarat, Gundagai and Sydney super swap. There were a couple of bargains to be had but numbers were still down. All in all a good day with some parts for current projects being purchased.

YEP , Just as l remember 80% rubbish and the really good stuff over priced, People keep the really cool stuff in their sheds and very hard to get them to let it go ! Got a sports bar for my ute at last swap meet ,for only $150 from a bloke who cleaned out his shed and just wanted $$$ ,two rows over a D/head wanted $600 , for a scratched up one , took my new buy back over to show him what a like new one looked like , some people really need to wake the F up and get into the real world, it's not made of gold mate it's a used car part ! Like the fuel cap for a xb/ xc for $70 on line

Rylstone swap meet 15th May 2022 i always find mad bargain car parts. Last year HQ GTS dash with fascia for 50 bucks.
Flea market, swap meet, kerb side council clean ups, they are slowly becoming one. 😥

That's nothing like 'our' Swap Meets up here in the 'States. Looked like a lot of Household items...Table Lamps(!)thrown in there. It seems ANY 'Chrome-Bumper' RWD Car(Jap-Euro-or Aussie Home Market,ect..)sell(s)for INSANE $$$$ down there,while up here the Cars seem to just fall out of the Trees. I just bought a 2-Owner '67 Impala SS-396 4-Speed Fastback for $5500 and a 1-Owner '69 Falcon 2-Door(250-6/C4 Auto)for $1300. These were 'original' Cars with original(for the most part..)Paint/Interiors and were never hacked about. IF these were hacked-up project Cars you could actually get them a tad bit cheaper...IF you know how to wheel & deal.
We really only see the hiked up mega buck prices here, that sounds like some awesome deals you’ve got!! Send us some pictures via out Instagram channel.
When you look at the prices and availability of cars/parts in the States compared to here. talk about premium mark-ups and even worse since Covid
