And she's been the best vocalist in Japan for the last 20 years. Deep lows, emotionally charge tones, insane sustained notes, and can even go to whistle register (e.g., Wasurenai Hibi). I remember being a big fan of her 15 years ago. It was really cool seeing her on the same stage as BABYMETAL and X-Japan (YOSHIKI) at last year's Kohaku Uta Gassen. Three of my favorite Japanese artists in one place.
