If You are planning to use rtx, nvidia is always a better choice because of his rt cores, same thing with dlss (that i suspect are not being used in this video). Both technologies improves your gpu performance by far.

I have a 1080p monitor, and I'm considering upgrading to 1440p. Anyone with experience in this type of situation? Should I even upgrade at all?
The non-XT is actually a Sapphire Pulse. The card's chassis and cooler seem to be a straight copy of the 6600XT Sapphire Pulse, though it pulls power comparable to the 6700 XT in some situations. Its thermals aren't great tbh but they're not a problem. In my 5000D with two front intake fans it could get up to the seventies but it wasn't loud, and there wasn't coil whine that I heard. If your case has good airflow it shouldn't be a problem thermally. If you are conidering buying one then look into the 6650XT and 3060Ti as well because they're fairly similar depending on which games you play.

AMD compared 6700 XT to 3060 Ti and 3070 at launch so definitely not 3070 Ti counterpart. At the moment 6700 XT costs the same as 3060 Ti where I live and 6700 XT is better in most titles.

The cooling on the 6700 NON XT seems terrible, higher temps with a smaller power consumption than the XT.
