Which is best tatanium iron
I use a ceramic straightener, straighten my hair once a wk leave it for two day before wash. I use heat sprays, serums etc… air dry my hair, thick hair dry coarse… 🤦♀️ but My hair smells irony, burnt etc can you point me in a different direction. Should I switch type of straightener. Thx
Am i the only guy here looking for a good iron for my wife? 🤦♂️
HAHAHA omg Kenny that is so cute! What a great husband? Did you find one? Can I help you with anything? Just ask!
@@GlamGirlGabi yes i found one..thanks for the advice your video was very helpful👍..
Kenny Tr no problem at all. I hope she really loves it!
Kenny Tr that’s adorable
Possibly... But that makes u🦸🦄 (amazing and mythical or very hard to find or believe in) and not 🤦(lame and cringe worthy or a basic af dude found almost everywhere) lol IMHO 🤷 anyways! 🤩
Your videos are so informative and I learn so much from you. I have fine hair that has thinned with age, and I learned from you that my theory that my high messy bun I rock daily has been making my hairline thin and cause a bald spot. I have been doing a loose low bun since seeing your videos about traction alopecia and I hope that my hairline may recover. Your videos are fantastic.
This was so helpful, I know with my fine hair a ceramic plate is what I wanted but I hadn't previously considered the options within that. Thank you!
Thank you for going over the differences in the plates!
I had no idea there even was a difference thank you for explaining so well
No problem! I'm happy that you found this to be useful. What style of iron do you currently use?
I am so glad I come across your channel here in youtube because I’m in the market for hair straightener and your explanation is so clear, detailed and professionally explained. Thank you for sharing this info and because of this, I just subscribed to your channel and also hit the thumbs up button. Thanks again.
I'm so glad i found this video. very informative. i have standatd, wavy hair -- nothing too curly -- but i believed i needed to upgrafe to a titanium iron ... I'm going to stick with my ceramic one. Thank you!!!
I loved your video, there’s no info on google as clear as this 👌🏼
Thanks Paola! I’m so happy that you found this information to be useful. I did a ton of research before making the video 😘
Thank you for the explanation, I was thinking about boy a ceramic coated one but now I prefer a titanium iron.
No problem. I’m happy that you found it helpful. A titanium iron is perfect for controlling a lot of frizz and hair that has excessive density and is hard to straighten.
Wow, how interesting....I had no clue of these differences....I mean kind of but your explanation is very professional and detailed. Thanks a lot Gabi.
Thanks so much my friend! Yeah it's one of those things that even as a hairdresser I didn't really understand. It was eye opening once I took a deep dive look at the differnces!
Thank you! You helped answer so many questions in an unbiased way.
I am so glad it was helpful! I never imagined that this video would do as well as it has. There was a lot of confusion between flat iron plates and not a lot of answers.
So Interested In This video about ceramic vs. tourmaline infused ceramic 😎 I also love the Babyliss Prima 3000 for coarse hair! It smoothes amazingly 😍
Thank you for the informative video 😃 I learned a lot.
I think I just discovered that I have fairly thin hair. I have a lot of hair and it’s heavy so I just thought I have thick hair. A ceramic curling iron holds better for me. I bought a $90 curing iron from chi that is titanium and it goes flat as soon as I’m done , and also my hair smells burnt. I really thought that spending a little more would get me better results 🥲lol
Loved the video! Very helpful
Excellent information that was presented clearly and professionally. I subscribed because of this video!
I LOVE your hair length in THIS video. It’s so perfect for your face! 🤩 WOW…just wow!
Thanks for the review 😊. It was really helpful.
Good explanation. This video cleared my all doubts.
Thank you so much! I have 4c hair and was struggling now I know why sheesh I was using the wrong iron
This was really helpful thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much, i was about to buy ceramic but then my hair’s the thick and crazy one. Titanium it is then 🥳
Wow, very informative. Excellent. Thank you!
Yes please make the video on different technology straighteners & hair dryers
Thank you so much for the recommendation! I will absolutely look into it for you! That would be a great video.
It was very helpfull.Thank you for sharing😍
Another hairdresser recommends titanium on the basis of even heat distribution even for fine hair because you only need one pass as opposed to repeated passes to get smooth straight hair using tourmaline and other plates. I’ve noticed hairdressing professionals vary in their opinions and that’s all good but, many have said they’ve found a higher heat and even heat distribution combined with the right products = less likelihood of damage.
Very informative I appreciate it so much🤗
Thanks for explaining this!
Thx so much for the vid. I am African American and am a believer in tourmaline flat irons. Any iron that helps protect hair from heat is what I'm about!! I have loved my 1st flat iron for years which was the h2pro tourmaline ceramic flat iron. Now I just purchased the titanium BaBylissPro Ionic iron. Wish me luck!
Goodluck!! I have a babyliss pro titanium iron and it’s phenomenal! I’ve never owned a tourmaline iron. I need to invest in one just to feel out the differences in my clients hair. Happy you found this video helpful.
Go for Alan Truman
So useful and informative!
Thank you! I’m so happy that it was helpful. :)
Thank you sooooo much for this video! Very helpful
No problem at all! I’m so glad that you found this one useful! ❤️
Tank you for that video, I have a titanium flat iron and it makes my hair so "sick" straight dry/ i feel almost electrocuted lol but I always heat it a 350° to 395° only and I have big wavy 2b hair..
Helped me alot!! Thank you 😊
I just bought a ceramic iron because it was on sale! I tried it and it *straightened my hair* but not straight-straight - thick 90s straight. My hair is softer than when I use my babybliss which is titanium but it seems to fry my hair easily. It gets the work done but does a lot of damage. Anyways, I don’t necessarily like the results of either. And I have thick, frizzy, wavy/curly hair. I didn’t know about the different iron types. I think I might be returning it. I have tried my mom’s CHI LAVA and I loved it. Thank you so much!
Try the Alfa italia titanium ones so good
Thanks for the information, God Bless!
Clear and concise!
Thank you for watching! I am so happy that it was helpful for you :)
I just bought a 100% titanium straightener. I was getting scared as I listened that maybe it wasn't a good choice. I'm SO glad I did. I'm getting older and my hair is not at all what it used to be. It's wavy and getting more coarse. I am also glad I can adjust the temp to hopefully prevent burns.
Hi, your Video helps me a lot, I'm planning to buy iron, online but I don't know what Iron best suited my super thick hair, and thru your video I learned that titanium iron is what i need to buy, Thank you and more power😊
I’m so happy that you found it helpful Maiden! Titanium is definitely a fantastic option for very thick hair. I personally love the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Optima 3000 iron.
Pratyusha Roy titanium for sure.
So helpful , Thank you
Thank you for this video!
very helpful video!! thank you!
Glad it was helpful! You're welcome. Thanks for visiting my channel :)
Very Informative!
Thank you so much ❤️😊. My long and thick Indian hair is very difficult to maintain. 😅
Gabi, thank you so much for your video. Could you please explain what does it mean when your straightener is infused with keratin and other stuff. I recently had protein overload and wondering if I can still use my iron. Thank you so much in advance 🤗
I have titanium hair straightening for 5 years and I loved it.
What hair type you have gurl?
@@gargee29 thick and coarse hair

Couldn't grow my hair for ages!!
Aria Lacey - best straighteners I've ever found. Tourmaline plates with ceramic coating. My hair is quite fine, damaged, fragile, but stubborn and thick AF. I normally straighten my hair all except the bottom 1/2 inch and just brush through my post straightening oils and making sure the ends are taken care of
Hair is healthier, actually growing! (Just found out about "hair Botox" deep conditioning salon treatment so I'll be doing that once a month from now on, highly recommend even if it's just the once, it felt amazing I had TV advert hair for the first time ever.) This video confirms what I had stopped but hadn't actually figured out... Why my hair stopped growing. Subscribed! 😊
Thank you for such amazing tips!!! I am so glad that you found this video useful. I'm happy to have you as apart of the community here 😍
Amazing video! Thank you
You’re welcome! I’m so happy you found it helpful!
Glam Girl Gabi hey! I have really curly but fine hair, do you think the titanium would be harsh on my hair? My hair is so poofy and frizzy too
thanks a lot for a super useful review
You just saved my hair and my wallet!! Thank you for this video!! I’ve been trying to figure out the right tools to purchase for my hair and I had a couple titanium tools in my cart online!
But I have hair similar to yours for straight/fine/smooth. Goodness that could have been a bad time!
Thanks for this!
Thank you so much for this video!!!this is exactly what i was looking for,i got fine but freezy hair and last year with the wrong flat iron i just destroy it,i still have a lot of damage,i mean i cut the split ends and they don't break anymore, they was "looking" long, but breaking at 20 cm,it was crazy...i stopped use heat for a long time,no straightner for about a year but my hair literally still fly away one from each other, even if i do a lot of deep conditions. And i was almost end up to buy a titanium flat iron for my freezy strands, but now i know i have to stay away from that.I just subscribe your channel❤
Hey! I'm so so happy that you found this to be useful! I'm sorry that happened to you. I have fine hair and I've literally fried my hair SO MANY TIMES. You're not alone. For your hair type, I would go with a ceramic and keep the heat as low as possible. Experiment with the heat so that you can keep it at the setting you need to straighten it nicely and stop there. Don't go any higher. It also helps to shampoo your hair less. How often are you shampooing? I shampoo twice a week and that has gotten my hair into a super healthy spot! I will be making more hair care and hair tips videos so stay tuned :)
@@GlamGirlGabi thank you for your accurate and helpful videos!!I shampoo every other day basically 3/4 times at week cause i do have oily scalp😔 and that doesen't help me of course i know, but with fine hair i can't resist all week long without washing cause i will end up as a huge oily mess...i can't wait to see more hair care videos of you💜
Yes please do a ceramic vs tourmaline
I'll look into this. Thank you so much for the idea! :-)
Um, title of this video!
That means I need a ion with titanium coating🤔... Thanks for the information.. really helpful 👍🏻👍🏻
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much for hanging out with me and tuning in!
What's a good titanium flat iron brand to buy?
Most stylist use the babyliss prima 3000 for their natural clients!! And ceramic for relaxer or chemical service clients!! What do u think?
This video was so helpful! Can you please recommend a ceramic flat iron product with temperature control for fine damaged hair?
Thanks for sharing the video
Very good video. Thank you
Glad you liked it! Thank you so much for watching :)
Hey Gabi, thank you for the video. I am about to buy a flat iron. My hair is fine but has a lot of curl especially underneath. Ever since I had my daughter my hair got more and more curly. Even though my hair was always straight. Suggestions please, thank you 💕
I'm interested in a video vs tourmaline and ceramic
I got a new T3 Single pass ceramic straightener from Costgo today. I didn’t have a flat iron and wanted a nice one.
They have the straightener! I just bought the T3 1 1/2 inch curling iron from Costco too and it's awesome. There are some things about it that I don't love but for the most part it's really good.
Hey ! Watching a video on your channel for the first time, was really useful. Could you please suggest me a few good ceramic plated hair straighteners?
Very helpful video
Your tutorial was very helpful 👌, but I'll stick to my ceramic straight ahead pro glider.. with the other irons I smelled 🔥 hair 😳
Thanks MiMi! Yes you always have to stick with what works best for you and it sounds like what you’re using is working. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. 😉
Ceramic it is! Tq!!
Thank you great information
Glad it was helpful!
You are great person , thanks for important gaidness I am indian and you
Your comparison is great. I love your video :)
Thanks so much! 😊 I am so happy that you found it helpful!
I think I need a ceramic iron. What do you recommend?
Thank you so much, that was very informative! Please what is the minimum heat to straighten thin to medium hair?
It really depends on a lot of factors but if your hair is relatively straight already, I would keep the heat around the 300 degree mark. Move the dial to the heat where you get the result you want and no hotter. I hope I was able to help.
Glam Girl Gabi yes thanks :). My hair is curly but I blowdry it previously. I'll see how it goes when I receive the adjustable flat iron
The only titanium straighteners we have in australia are basically silver bullet etc.
The silver bullet I want goes up to 230°C… thinking of getting one even though I have ghd ceramic straightener that heats at 185ºC
Hi Gabi! I would like to ask for advice. What you think which straightener is best to use on thin, healthy, long, and naturally straight hair for making curls? Just to add, my hair is very difficult to curl and stay curled :) It gets straight again after few hours. I wouldn't like to damage my hair, and wouldn't use a straightener often. Only in some occasions. So which from those you mentioned would be the best by your opinion for my hair to stay curled during the whole day? :) Thank you! :)
Q,ssz
Which straightener did you get? Im looking for the same ❤️
Thx! good to know
Thank you so much!!!!
No worries! I'm glad it helped!
La babyliss me duró 10 años! Y volveré a comprarla.
If I have fine, hair that is dry & long. Which type of iron is better for me? I’m leaning to ceramic based on your review
idk if i have fine , thick or sensitive hair but , is ceramic layer hair straightener will be suitable for me ? :)
5 years I’ve been wondering why my hair all of a sudden started breaking off at the ends and nothing I did would help. 5 years I’ve thought it was my blow dryer, shampoos, masks and even vitamin deficiencies. Not until one random comment I saw yesterday that sent me into a deep dive, did I realize that 5 years ago I switched from my trusty ceramic Chi 1 inch OG, to a titanium coated Chi G2, and my hair has been breaking off ever since. My hair is super fine, curly, but incredibly fine and I have to baby it. Never in 5 years did I consider my flat iron plates, OMG!!!
I’ve always wondered why no other straightener works as good as babyliss
Hi, Gabi..I was watching your video..I am in the middle to buy a flat iron...I was looking for a nume hair straightener (tourmaline) My question its a good brand?..Hope yoy can answer my question..Thank you so much..👍🌻👍🌻👍
Please create a video on the Touroline vs full ceramic. I'm looking at investing in an iron.
Great idea. I’ll look into that for you!
@@GlamGirlGabi yes, please do make actual comparison of both plates on same hair if you can.. I'm thinking to buy either Remington full ceramic plate, or the tourmaline one (the one that has keratin/argan on it)
Really good info..
But how do I know my hair type
Grate video. but I have short straight hair I like flicks waves thank you 🙏 ❤😇❤️🙏
Thankyou madam fantastisc message ..
I love somouch...
Are tourmaline straighteners good for thin & fine hair? Thx🧡🧡
Hi ! I’m trying to get a new straightener iron ... which one do you recommend? Thanks
What hair strainghtener do you recommend for dry damaged hair? Not curly but wavy? As I understood ceramic is better for that type of hair, but which one? There are so many....
Lmao it's literally impossible to choose. Been trying for 3 years still here ....
I have a question: So I’ve been using ceramic straighteners my entire life and my hair is more wavy than curly but not super thick or thin. I can never get it to stay straight and smooth. It always gets frizzy and wavy within an hour. Should I switch to a titanium straightener for longer lasting results?
Hey! Yes! Absolutely. All my clients with hair like yours, I straighten with the babyliss pro nano titanium flat iron and it’s absolutely perfect and long lasting. What will help you maintain results also is to start with a blow out using a hot air brush. Have you ever heard of those? I can not straighten my wavy hair without blowing it out first. It doesn’t look nearly as good or last nearly as long.
this is an amazing video, thank you for finally explaining! Although, your Toyota vs Porsche comparison... not accurate. lol.
LOL I’ve been told….. hahahaha. Clearly I’m not a car person.
Can you recommend ceramic one for my damaged thin weak hair please ? Thanks 🙏
Thank you
ty
My lifetime nightmare is having really frizzy and curly hair but thin 🥺 what van you recommend for me also I feel ñike EVERY single iron pulls my hair I've bought and tried soooo many hair Straightners and still HELP
Hi what do u think about the remington keratin therapy ? what would u recommand me from drugstore for normal hair
I currently have ceramic iron, sometimes it works well. But I think I should go for something more for my hair type (I have straight roots, but the rest is wavy/curly and it can be frizz and puffy). I'm still debating but thank you for the video and explaining it.
Well you almost covered everything, but may I know how durable is tourmaline straighteners are?
Thank you so much this is so informative and beneficial 💜.Can you recommend me a titanium flat iron that doesnt hurt the hair that much? I don't have a thick hair but its not that thin also! Its smooth but its frizzy 😭.
Yes of course! My favourite is the Babyliss pro nano titanium flat iron! I haven't done a video about it yet but I really need to because it's an amazing flat iron and as long as you turn your heat down and pass smoothly and evenly, you won't get damage but you will get PERFECT results. I use it on all my frizzy hair clients in the salon and it's truly incredible.
Glam Girl Gabi Thank you so much! I'll be waiting for your video.
@@GlamGirlGabi what heating settings will you recommend for fine hair using the titanium baby bliss iron
I do have fine hair but it is very curly and doesn't stay super straight after styling it with my ceramic straightener. Should I try titanium or should I stay away from it due to the possibility of melting my fine hair? What if I choose a very low heat setting with a titanium?
Looking forward to your response!!! ❤
I have medium thick wavy curly hair and yeah my hair resembles sahara desert (dry hair maybe sometimes extremely dry but most of the time medium dry hair) I want good hair straightener, please can you suggest me?
Thank you ma'am for this wonderful and useful information about choosing our hair straightener...😍
I want to know which hair straightener would damage our hair less and is long lasting..can you suggest some name?
I also want to know that
Thank you so much for this video! I have a quick question: I’m trying to buy my first flat iron! I have wavy thick hair that has been relaxed before so it doesn’t hold the curls anymore. I want to try straightening instead maybe like once a week and I don’t really wanna get heat damage so I was thinking of buying a chi ceramic one. Would you recommend I get a titanium one instead based on my hair type? Thanks for the info again!
Hey! If your hair is relaxed and you're just pressing it for some extra smoothness, a chi ceramic is an EXCELLENT choice. If your hair starts going back to a very wavy and thick texture and you want much more control, a titanium will be a better option for you :) Titanium has a stronger performance overall, in my opinion.
I have the SOLEIL hair straightener 100% solid ceramic magnetized plates, i paid $350.00 for it but i have a lifetime warranty on it. I can always get a new one if mine breaks or it does not work anymore, i just pay a $45.00 shipping and handling fee and i get a new one. Thats the only one i use. This one is a good hair straightener.
