This album is like a kid having fun with his favourite toys. Em sounds so fresh and the songs are produced so well Side B is a great album atleast in my opinion. Em doesn't need to earn breads or prove anything but he still has love for rap which keeps him going and that is really very inspiring 😌

@@jesp9435 Sorry, I'm late, but you should check out people like MF DOOM and Aesop Rock. It takes a few listens to get really into their music. Like at first I was like eh, and now Aesop might be my favorite rapper (tied with Em, but that's just an opinion.) But there are loads of really complex lyricists like Locksmith, Canibus, Cambatta, EI-P, Earl Sweatshirt, etc.
(Edit) You should install the genius apps if you ever struggle understanding what they are saying. They rap in such deep metaphors so it would be helpful.

Yeah, Em was still a rhyming demi-God back in his earlier days (Renegade, Lose Yourself etc), but now I feel he's kicked it up a notch by adding punches, different rhyming patterns for beat switches etc. Basically everything rhymes with modern Em haha.

Eminem isn’t the “only” GOAT. There are better musicians and artists than Eminem, and there are many on his level or above him in many ways.
Kanye is the best artist in Hip-Hop. On a technical level, Lupe is better than Eminem. Kendrick is better than Eminem poetically and in-depth storytelling and writing. Wayne is the punchline king, honestly, then Eminem.
Eminem mainly sticks to syllable count, homophones and entendres. Not saying he doesn’t have some amazing wordplay and punchlines, etc, he just doesn’t make better albums like 98-02, and I think he was a better rapper and artist back in the day.
The Eminem Show was Eminem’s last classic album, as well as his Magnus Opus. MMLP2 is Em’s best album since The Eminem Show, but MTBMB is great, too, and the B Side was a surprise.

Kendrick is definitely a better storyteller than Eminem; GKMC and especially TPAB proved that. Also, you do know Kendrick is the only rapper to ever win a Politzer Prize, right? He’s the epitome of a poet and the best one in Hip-Hop. His writing style is very methodical and nuanced, more-so than Em and Nas.
Nas is also a better storyteller than Eminem, though Em is right there next to him.
