- Ive been playing bass about 3 years and finally last month i was lucky enough to get my hands on a cheeky Red Rickenbacker 4003, so with that i'll be wearing my double denim, flares and misfits top for the last time in this Cliff Burton tribute video.

Metallica would be great again! I've always felt when he died, Metallica wasn't the same though I love AJFA and Black Album. But after that, Metallica doesn't exist to me.
You are so wrong about that. I think the guys in Metallica would be cool with it. Especially if they knew that Cliff is the kid's biggest influence.
As much as this guy is awesome as cliff, I would like to believe that Metallica would prefer to keep Cliff's memory as it is and think of anything after Cliff with Jason & Rob as just a passing of time. All three have their own individual qualities.

I saw Cliff Burton live when Metallica opened for Ozzy. Dude, not only did you nail this solo, you looked the part to. What a great fuckin' homage to the late, great Cliff Burton. But what's up with Buzz Osbourne Jr. that's standing next to you? He's must be the cut up member of your band . Every band I've been in has had at least one guy that makes everyone laugh and keeps things fun. All bands need someone like that. Again, great job on this Cliff Burton /Metallica classic.

I saw cliff play this live on the Ride The Lightning tour Chicago Illinois Aragon Ballroom 1985. I gotta tell ya man that brought back memories. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Thanks for playing so well and keeping the old metal going. I liked the drummer, the other dude was a little gay.
