Can't wait to come watch the boys get after it this weekend! Another beautiful layout with so much focus and detail. Thank you so much for the continued superlative effort you invest into the track Alex!
Hey Alex, That layout is awesome. Drivers will have to be on top of their game from start to finish. You’ve made the Hobbyplex one of the best indoor RC tracks. You and your team take a bow! I’ll be watching all the action! 🤙
Tilling it up plays a big part. Unfortunately, outdoor tracks won't hold together like this unless you add either organics into the dirt like pine shavings or wood chips...or...oils like vegetable oil or even diesel fuel. I don't recommend the diesel fuel for obvious reasons.
@@TheHobbyPlexShow now you said dirt. We are using clay. Just trying to be clear. So till some pine chips into the clay? Would it work to just till up the top 2”. It’s a oval by the way
Awesome looking layout!!

Thanks!
How do you get the clay to have that consistency? Our outdoor is just either mud or dust

Our clay is the same stuff that we had when outside. Organics will help it hold moisture and pack better.
@@TheHobbyPlexShow Thanks for the reply. Someone (not me:)) should do a track build video series. its not easy learning all this stuff
