@@kwitwerikok8o863 Melbourne (VIC) is currently the hotspot of the second wave in Australia. It has already spread to nearby Canberra (ACT) and most of NSW.
Some of it is due to lack of discipline among staff guarding those in isolation. Unless you consider having sex with some in isolation having discipline.
Most of it is due to bad leadership and an unwillingness to take charge by the federal government. Currently each state's premier is basically allowed to do as he/she pleases. And most of them are clueless, reckless and just want everything back to normal. Whilst pretending locking borders, except for goods and football players, will solve everything.

Now 2 - 3 weeks after summer school we are up to 109 cases at last look. One of our nursing homes has been hit in his home town, 36 cases overnight. When I hear the talk about opening schools, I always have to think of the 13 year old boy (with no apparent underlying health conditions) in the UK who died alone in the hospital in March while his mother and siblings had to self-isolate and also had to watch his funeral on a life stream. Children might be less susceptible but they can still die from Covid or have lasting damage

As a nurse who lives in Missouri, i can tell you about all of my friends, coworkers and family just love Trump and Parsons. I just cannot for the life of me understand it but, you could never change their minds. Hopefully, in November there will be enough of us that see the light and get Trump the hell out of office
