Thanks for the great & detailed 5th Wheel review ! This is a nice traveling home and has a nice layout. The video is well done & well edited. You are a GREAT host & funny too. The camera (guy) work is also the best !
You probably dont care but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the new series on instaflixxer. Been binge watching with my brother lately :)
Beautiful, very functional, love the layout and the quality build and accessories. The downside, price point and weight of this coach is way out of the range of a regular RV-er. Too, why not the Mor-Ryde steps verses the pullout aluminum? At the price point I’d expect and prefer the Mor-Ryde Steps.
Thanks for watching Lisa! This certainly is a heavy coach 😃 but that's how they manage to make it so residential (and super well insulated with those 3.25" thick walls). The price point simply reflects what you are getting in the build of the RV, considering most of the owners of these are full-timers, for them the price is justified... as it is their house! We're not sure why DRV chose to go with those entry steps, next time the Rep comes around we'll ask 😉
Well I like the construction of the DRV but inside only two recliners and add a table and two chairs turn the garage into living quarters and put the other recliners in there plus need steps to get down from the patio plus an all enclosed patio curtain. You did not mention if is prep for solar which I prefer and I have my own generator 12,000 pulsar with a quite muffler for 4500 dollars less then the installed. Also don’t want the two couches that come down take them out. So HOW MUCH you did not say. Why is most dealers refuse to state a MSRP to start. I’ll call the manufacture and see what they have to say. I like the walk thru, what coffee do you drink to feel like your in slow motion. Thanks.
Hi Michael, Thanks for watching. It doesn't sound like this particular RV is for you. Perhaps consider a special order? Also, the MSRP (along with many other details) is stated on the listing on our website here: www.southernrv.com/New-Inventory-2021-DRV-Trailer-Fullhouse-LX455-DRV-Fullhouse-southernrv-9740313?ref=list
Luxe does build a very pretty RV! But they are factory direct, so there is no dealer support network. Not to mention they are much more expensive than DRV!
@@Southern_RV uhm if you look at prices im pretty sure that most people looking at this price point are not going to complain about a roughly $10k difference. I've had a DRV and there current price points are extremely close to a Luxe with less quality than a Luxe.
The LX455 in this video had an MSRP of $182,350 and had a real sale price of $136K (before tax, tag, title). The average Luxe Toy Hauler has an MSRP of close to $280k and a factory direct sale price of $200k... That's a pretty significant cost difference!
Hi Jim, Luxe does build a pretty RV! That said, we're not comparing apples to apples here, different frames, different wall construction, different components.... the list goes on and on. The Luxe comes in at a much higher price point and because it is a factory direct product it does not have a dealer support network. Nor does it have an RVIA seal.
It's hard to compare the two in an "apples to apples" sort of way, especially given that Riverstone isn't currently making a Toy Hauler with a true garage.

Thanks for watching HGordonF!
Nice job
Such a nice presentation!
Thanks for watching!
"the occasional stumbling adult..." LOL. Nice job on the walk-around.

@Gerald Tyler yea, I have been watching on Instaflixxer for since december myself :D

Definitely a must have.
We think so too!
Great very informative presentation
As an engineer no way is the frame stiffer then a 12" I-beam with stiffners put in.
Can you do me a favor and get a bigger hand held microphone?
I Love DRV’s!!!
Love it
Manly space😂😂😂😂
Metal cabinetry surrounding a big flat screen TV and diamond plate on the walls gives off a heavy garage vibe!
Are these in the Top Tier of 5th whees?
What other manufacturers are in this class for comparison?
DRV is definitely in the higher tier of fifth wheels. Some similar manufactures to DRV would be Luxe RV, Hew Horizons RV, and Forest River Riverstone
Spacecraft blows it out.
@@crazyprepper5400 they are really that much better huh? Are they like the Liberty Prevost of 5th wheels?
Just think you get charged 6k for a 1k tv
You forgot to say how much weight toy hauler door can handle
Thanks for watching! The ramp door is rated at 2,500 lbs as a ramp and 2,000 lbs as a patio.
@@Southern_RV Thank's

No table?
In this instance a freestanding table is meant to go between the couches in the garage.
Wow, no washer/Dryer hook-ups in ant of the Full Houses??
There are washer dryer hook ups! In the entry closet, we show them at 05:11
@@Southern_RV Thank you, missed that!
Sorry guys, DRV is years behind allot, for that kinda money ill buy a LUXE first.

Lol it's not the biggest. Just go get a spacecraft 100× better for around the same money
Check out the luxe, it can be customized, better workmamship, and an absolute work of art.

It was good until the bedroom TV. Just a huge no. Nowhere to put a big tv
Hi Sue, thanks for watching! More TV would mean less cabinetry and storage. But we understand... Some folks need those big TV's!
Thor product, nope. Way over rated and overpriced imo. Riverstone legacy is way nicer.
It's hard to compare the two in an "apples to apples" sort of way, especially given that Riverstone isn't currently making a Toy Hauler with a true garage.
