The Price was the same for the small and medium cage, so I chose the Medium. (year: 2018)
I think that the playground is too big(ladder) for my cockatiel.

I would definitely recommend getting a few new toys like foraging and shredding and a few more Natural wood perches but this cage is great for cockatiel otherwise!

I think you should get more natural perches but overall I think your cage is GREAT maybe even add a few more shedding and forging toys!!!!

It’s an amazing cage so props to you for that but you need better perches. Lots of natural wood and a platform maybe. As well as better toys. Foraging toys and shredding toys that’ll keep your bird busy and keep their brain stimulated. Parrots are extremely intelligent animals and they need that activity or they’ll be bored beyond belief. Great cage though.
Great Cage! Do you happen to know the measurements of the screws/bolts of the seed guards? I happen to have lost them and am unable to attach that part of the cage :((!

Just purchase my 1st cockatiel and I put It in a cage but it too small,so I have to get a bigger size one for her.
Do you think that cage would be good for a green cheeked Conroe? I might get one in the summer (hopefully so I can bond with it) And when school starts I won’t be home until 3 pm. Would a big cage like this be good so it can play and have its own time? Also love ur bird 💕
I think that the bars are too wide for your bird.
My Friends nope bars are a perfect size for a conure
Conures are a little bit more active then cockatiels so I reccoment a cage that is a little bit bigger!

I call cockatiels kevin because my grandpa had a pet cockatiel named kevin and he's my favourite and loves scritches and sunflower seeds
he's not here no more and I mostly forgot about him growing up and I never knew about cockatiels before
I would recommend you switch to a pellet diet but the cage is nice

Why doesn't everyone just go with the prevue hendryx f040 or f050 flight cage? Its cheaper and has way more space for your tiels.

Did you have to assemble or was it already put together?
You have to assemble it. Assembly took about one hour (or more)but it wasn't that difficult.
Would this fit two cockatiels comfortably?
A larger one would always be better, but this one could work as a cage for two. ♡

I bought it for about $300 but it depends on the seller.
I paid $389 for the x-large one at Tractor Supply Co. I was surprised they where the cheapest. Basically because I didn't even know they sold pet bird cages. At least online they do.
