"Chew has also done a great job."
That's more recognition than he ever got from Princess Leia. 😂
I'd argue that this is kinda a misconception because the point of them getting a medal was that Han piloted the millennium falcon and Luke destroyed the death star. Chewbacca had nothing to do with it, but he still is even allowed to walk in the ceremony.
@@maoistgonzaloitepolpotist7743
Pretty sure the co-pilot of a craft still deserves recognition, but what do I know (plus, he was instrumental in helping Leia escape the Death Star)
@maoistgonzaloitepolpotist7743 There's no way Han made the decision to turn the Falcon around on his own. Chewie was definitely giving him shit while they were flying away.
@@k.k.michael2142 Yeah, Chewie has a way of calling Han out, whenever his old smuggler ways keep him from doing what he knows he should actually do.
Chewie does deserve and did deserve the recognition and was awarded alongside other fellow pilots and operators but we didn't get to see it, even George Lucas confirmed it was just a ceremony awarding the commanding pilots of the attack that took down the Death Star, otherwise there would be other pilots receiving medals as well, the only two remaining pilots active during the stack to the vent shaft were Han and Luke.
I love Babu's comment to the slow lightsaber duel.
"Both are old, so fighting slowly." Babu is very wise and observant.
One of so many reasons why I tell people to watch the movies as they came out rather than in episode order. The Jedi battle is quite a bit of a let down. Of course you don't get the surprises of Luke and Leia's parentage either which is really the biggest reason not to watch in episode order.
@@bradparnell614haha I don’t think they’ve worked out yet anyway that Vader is Luke/Leia’s father, looking forward to the next part to see their reaction
Lucas originally wanted the light sabers to be massive weapons that were hard to wield. Also, Alec Guinness was one of those old school actors that was trained how to handle a sword, so he didn't show off with flourishes and stupid stuff that would end his part in a sword fight, real quick.
@@bradparnell614 No but you replace the one parentage plottwist with the huge darth vader plottwist. 100% better. And it also gives you info some of the characters dont have which also makes it more entertaining. Watching chronological is definitely the way to go
Imagine their surprise when Empire drops, Vader ain't dead, Yoda pops up, the baby daddy is revealed, and Hans gets put on ice. 😂 This was such a wonderful reaction, I made popcorn to watch them having so much fun. ❤
They should know Vader is Anikan and Anikan is the father of Luke and Leia. They saw the prequels right? But they might have put all that together.
They know vader is anakin but don't know that he's the father, The prequels only revealed the babies at the last moment and I think these gentlemen didn't catch the names. @@carlpeterson8182

They don't know who Luke is! The reveal is going to be epic!
Raheen: "Look the Queen is here!"
Babu(while stroking his beard like a wise old man): "Her name is Princess Leia."

Obi-wan:"Qui-gon!"
Raheen: Who is kwaigun?
Babu: the one Master from the 1st film

I feel like they are missing more and more as time goes on, because nobody is correcting their misconceptions. The language barrier is just sort of accumulating errors as they go.
@@Mr.Ekshin Dude, to be fair it's only their first time watching the franchise... no-one picked up every small detail or interpreted everything correctly straight away after watching a series of this scale the first time. They've had one sitting, we've had over 40 years to appreciate the original trilogy and welcome its spin-offs; we've probably seen the movies dozens of times over including the various "editions". Until they get through them all they won't have the complete canon timeline to look back on in retrospect or all the information needed to make sense of the many twists and turns of the vast Star Wars universe throws out. I think it's better they learn from their own viewing experience than have gatekeeper fanboys keep correcting them, else it becomes less of a reaction series from a group of people embracing western culture and more a lesson in shaming... it's very likely they discuss things off-camera like most fans do and figure things out rather than have the producer keep interrupting them just to correct their mistakes.
@@MarcusBritish - You misunderstood my intent. I was thinking whoever is behind the camera showing them these films, might be able to act as a guide, and correct various misconceptions and misinterpretations as they arise (without spoilers).
@@Mr.Ekshin But it's these misconceptions which are interesting to us watching them react - it's interesting to see how people from another cultures even make "mistakes" while watching a movie like this.
The Force is strong with them, for it's a truly divine power.
I think the Hindi dub translates “the force” into “the divine power”
Just a bit of old family story back in 1979 my step father was a police man in the UK and attended a reported burgery at a Industrial unit as he searched the building with his torch he was scared witless by monsters! This was the building where all the cantina alien puppets and costumes were being stored.
45:00 Love how Babu and Luke say “No” at the same time 😂
I find it amusing that the think that this movie ends the series and even more amusing they think Vader is dead. Boy are they in for a surprise.
I'm thinking the same.. I hope they're still under that assumption when they watch Empire because their reaction is gonna be great, lol
"Lord Vader was killed by driver" was great, can't wait for them to actually be reunited with Yoda as well, they been waiting
After this came out, I remember debating with my friends about whether or not Vader was dead. It seemed that he flew away but the Death Star was gone so where could he go? We debated on the range of a TIE fighter or if the Empire could've picked him up. Really nerdy stuff. LOL.
"And then Darth Vader bumped into a some random Tie-Fighter pilot and veered off into space never to be seen again. The end."
@@kpmac1 The Fighter of Darth Vader is not a Tie-Fighter. It is a TIE Advanced. The TIE Advanced does have a hyperdrive and shields, which a Tie-Fighter lacks. That's knowledge from the videogame Tie Fighter from 1994.

Babu's enthusiasm was wonderful. 😊 You go, Babu. We love you.
I think Babu reverted back to a twelve year old boy, he enjoyed the movie so much ! Good for him!
Lol I hope they keep calling Han Solo “the driver.” Hilarious!
26:30 "He ruined the planet" Yeah he sure did 😂
That's the consequence if you show someone Rogue One first. Then he will think, the Death Star doesn't have enough fire power to blow up a whole planet.
Everybody loves Chew. How could you not love Chew
"Hurry up or you will turn into papad and be flat!" When I first saw this movie in 80s as a little kid (on VHS), that scene in the trash room TERRIFIED me!
I thought watching in this order they would be spoiled about whose Luke and Leia's father is, but they seemed to have not remembered that was the names their mother gave them.
Not a fan boy. And it's opinion whether it's a bigger twist or not. Lucas's is also opinion. Never said it was the biggest twist of all time and it needs to be preserved at all costs. So arguing a point I didn't make and you sound like the fan boy ranting about this. And no, a lot of reactions on here did not know the Luke's fathers twist. And no, wasn't on the playground as I was already grown by that time. So, accusing me of something I never did, because you don't have an argument. Lighten up on the Star Wars fanaticism. @Antonio-Gransci
It's still his opinion and his creating them doesn't change that. And watching a trilogy, then the before, is a lot different arranging pages of a story, so again no argument from you, just silliness. And it's noted he did show them in the wrong order. @Antonio-Gransci
And many people don't know the "I am your father" twist in this country, never mind in the whole world. You are a real fan boy if you remotely believe that.@Antonio-Gransci
Actually, you did accuse me of that. And it's not an objective fact, it's your opinion and that is subjective. Definitions and Star Wars are not your best subjects. And plenty of people are surprised by the reveal. I've seen numerous ones on here. Again, you seem like the fanatic one. @Antonio-Gransci
You did when started this rant. You seem to arguing against yourself.@Antonio-Gransci

I do not think they have realized the children's names from the prequals.
I think they were more involved with Padme and Anakin to catch them, and to be honest if you don't know what's to come it's easily missed she practically whispered the names. I'm actually really looking forward to Empire now.
They might catch on in the next one though, or maybe it was edited out.😉
I cracked up when Raheen said "They don't even look around when they kiss!" The dangers of watching Star Wars in sequence and missing that they don't know they're related yet! =D
Yeah, I was kind of surprised that they don’t seem to remember the twins’ names or Anakin’s old home (later they said the planet reminded them of his pod race, but didn’t identify it as the same planet).
Aside: I came to mention Raheem’s kiss comment but you beat me to it. 😁
Honestly, I think the Star Wars story works best if you watch the original ones first. Watching the prequels first, takes away all the reveals from the best movies in the franchise.(Don't mean that to sound objective, but c'mon!) I'm glad they missed some of that stuff. They'll enjoy it more, I hope =D
Excellent. And they're going to love Emperor Strikes back and finally see Yoda (and the Emperor) return. So much more will make sense by the next movie.

Star Wars: ANH was so popular it played in most US theaters for over a year. Almost everyone saw it twice and many people saw it multiple times. It was quite the experience in 1977 to see it on the big screen!
I learned a very important lesson watching this movie.
Never mess with old men.
Lol!! When Babu saw the trash-monster, he lifted his feet up. 😆
Here's something that would blow their minds; Peter Cushing, who plays Grand Moff Tarkin played the character in 1977 at the age of 66 and he died in 1994 at the age of 83 but he was also a main character in Rogue One that came out 22 years after he died and Grand Moff is the same age as he was in 1977. The Grand Moff in Rogue One is completely CGI, not a real person, even his voice is artificially recreated using recordings of Cushing's voice from the 1977 movie.
Babu yelling at them to attack after Kenobi died was too funny
Can’t wait to see there reaction to part V
I'm not sure, mabey I missed it but it seems that these two gentlemen haven't realized that Luke and Leia are the two children born to Padme at the end of Episode III
I say this because the older gentleman speaks about Luke parents being killed in the desert. Not realizing they were his aunt and uncle.

I hope someone told them that the cgi lizards were not from the 1970's
Babu and Raeen might be interested to know that Denis Lawson, who played fighter pilot Wedge Antilles in the big battle around the Death Star, is the uncle of Ewan McGregor, who portrayed Obi-Wan Kenobi in the first three films.
Also, the scene with Jabba the Hutt (who they may remember from the first movie) was originally filmed with a human actor, but left out of the movie. When they decided to put it back years later, they had to digitally turn him into the slug-like Hutt. They were so careful that they digitally made it look as if Han had stepped on Jabba's tail, even adding a grunt of pain.
And the first version of Jabba the Hutt in the Special Edition of a New Hope looked cheap, so they reworked on it for the BluRay Edition.
@@OpenGL4ever Actually, I think the quality of the Special Edition CGI bothered George Lucas more then most viewers. While it's nice to have all these fixes, unless you have a VCR, it's practically impossible to see the films as they were first released anymore.
@@patriciagerresheim2500 It bothered me, when it got released.
And the Special Edition was sold together with the original version as DVD version. So VCR is not required.
@@OpenGL4ever I'm sure you're not alone, but most people are more interested in the story than all the bangs and flashes. @@patriciagerresheim2500 In fact, the Star Wars Trilogy is the only one I've bought three times.
The first time was the original version on VHS cassettes, but with 5.1 THX surround sound in 1995.
Then the special edition on VHS cassettes in around 1997.
And finally the Limited Edition which included the special edition and the original version on DVD. But the original version here lacked the 5.1 THX surround sound, because George Lucas wanted it that way, because the original version in 1977 was released in stereo only and did not have THX 5.1 surround sound.
I bought none of the prequel and sequel films

Yeah, it was terrific. There was something in there - the purity, Marcia Lucas' team's energy in their editing, something - that just really made Babu behave like he was 10. It was really interesting, as I was bracing for them saying it was slower and not as big-looking. But, no. Not a word of it!
