The mere fact that she was able to get Elaine back to 10.8 10.7s in such a short space of time tells you that she's worth it. However the whole negotiations was handled badly by all parties involved the chief of it is the hubby. He's clueless to this. The mere fact he went SportMax and spill the beans tells you that. At that level Lawyers are the one to handle negotiations of that magnitude. Further more Elaine should have never left MVP. No matter what. She is putting Money before GREATNESS. This has been basically another lost season for Elaine. At her age and with her injury history, she only has maybe a couple of good seasons left in her, and time is not on her side. I suspect that some people wanted her to give her services for what they deem she is worth because she is a female. Some people don't understand that it's not just a certificate that makes a person excel at what they do. Work ethic, professionalism, attention to details, level of effort - not just settling for a minimal solution to a problem etc. Ms. Osbourne did not deserve what you vloggers said about her, the way you all ridiculed her and alluded to her being greedy and delusional. Elaine just need to have guts and fire her husband as her Manager. Shanieke is boss at injury management but on the other hand, I think she could have tried to take a little less than what she asked for this 2nd contract and prepare Elaine for the Olympics if she really cared for Elaine as she previously said. Elaine has her own equipment ...etc. .. . A win for Elaine would have been a Bigger win for Shanieke and her career - more athletes would be knocking at her door! Renaldo Walcott may not be that great at managing injury-prone Elaine but he apparently is more reasonable in negotiating. Shanieke needed more reasonability and was too impatient. She needs to prove herself much more and missed a big opportunity by not holding down Elaine's contract - 15% of WHAT! I admire her but Greed can be such a great Spoiler🙄

Rmr eth was willing to pay her what she asked for!! Elaine should have never had her husband so close to her affairs. First as coach in 2021 after he hot in his feelings about eth sucess and prospects of breaking the record. Btw what happen to his club he started ?

Elaine’s coach was a big flap this year .. outside of Shelly .. who else on the plane to Paris ? Plus Elaine has the wrong people advising her .. sometimes it is best to keep personal relationships and business separate .. So for those who needs a bit of background on Coach Shanikie Osbourne. Please pay attention to the spellingof her name.
    - Coach Osbourne has been working at MVP since the days of Brigitte, Safa and Wire Wire (Sherika Williams).
    - The likes of Tajay Gayle, Candice McLeod, Samantha and Tiffany James came from under her guidance at Papine High School.
    - The latest potential future star to come from her guidance is Gary Card from Wolmer's. She has left Papine and was coaching the sprints at Wolmer's Boys.
    - She has been guiding Candice for the past two seasons and this will be the third year they're working together.
    - She was also a teacher [Accounts & POB] at Papine High School while coaching at MVP.
    - She has now formed her own track club called Uptimum Performance with Bryan Levell, Delano Kennedy and Candice McLeod.
FYI - she has turned down the opportunities to work with several big name athletes bcuz she is a no nonsense person and of you're lazy or complains a lot she will not tolerate it. I can tell you. She will choose her athletes carefully based on personality, desire and willingness to learn as well as to work hard.
