Thanks for supporting all our Band Programs and the HBCU culture! Continue to support!
It's been about 7 years since Birmingham has had a battle of the bands. THIS WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!
I'm officially a fan of A&M
Same. What're the names of the songs they played? One of the songs sounded like "Reasons" by Earth, Wind & Fire.
Birmingham....KEEP THIS GOING! Every year!! Salute.
Stillman best sound overall for their pieces. State for best dancers.Overall performance i give to A&M. Showstopper goes to Miles. And Talladega for beasting, having a big ass band out of nowhere with no football team, and being the last man standing.
Shoutout to Stillman.. I'm very impressed
Miles College definitely won the battle of the bands in Birmingham. However, Alabama A&M and Stillman College sounded great!
Best BOB Birmingham has ever hosted. Please be an annual event. Thanks Birmingham.
Amo muito tudo isso, meu sonho estar num local desses com batalha de bandas, amo ver todas as bandas das escolas deste país. Vocês são incríveis , pena que não tenho dinheiro e nem sei o idioma pra está aí . Abraço para todos .
A&M the truth!!!!!!!!!
This was a Battle Royale, I wished I was there!!!!!!!
Miles College "sound" is full and rich......wow!
Full of bullshit
STILLMAN was def the most impressive and unassuming! They all did great, but Stillman and Dega🔥🔥🔥🔥
Stingettes field show at 1:44:00
First off, big kudos to the first Battle of Birmingham for a successful event. ALL the bands were superb and well represented. As far as stands, this battle started off like AAMU was going be a clear winner. But unexpectedly, Stillman and Talledega made it too close to call. I think everyone started off trying to match AAMU’s power but was much better when settled down. There was a chaotic moment but got back on track. On the field, Talledega College was winner. Though I’ve never seen a double time so horrendous. Field show was basic almost “high schoolish” but it somehow worked well and their sound was amazing. Can’t really blame ASU band for crowd crying laughing at overweight women. I know if we are tired of “big gurls” I can only imagine what their band feels about a permanent gimmick. Takes away from the quality of their show. Stillman sound was amazing. Tuskegee was great but just didn’t have size to match other bands. Miles College loved the “Bama” on field. Overall, there were no losers by far. Alabama was awesome, could it be North Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia next?
Alabama A&M is clearly the Big Boy Band in the State of Alabama with Miles College and yes! Talladega College fighting it out for second place. Alabama State and Stilliman should go another round at each other.
I love this kind of artistry😍👌🙌
Does anyone remember the year all the HS bands performed along with Southwest DeKalb County, A&M, State, Miles, Stillman, Jackson State, and FAMU came? That thing started roughly 1pm and we were there till night time.
I remember lol those were the days!! I was marching with Woodlawn Colonels........Green and Gold baby!!! Ayyeeeee throw them Dubs(W) up
I think that was 2004. I was a freshman in miles band.
Stillman sound good
Congratulations MILES PMM FOR WINNING , Ya'll deserved it , yall did an Awesome job, your field show was Amazing, I didn't expect any less, Wow, So Impressive, Very Proud !
YALL I WAS THERE IT WAS, SO FUN
Technically Miles is hard to beat. It shows what an actual band member can do for a band
khatcher15 nobody won baby😂it’s just a fundraiser event pipe down
@@jarezcook6978 bruh. First of all baby is not how you address a grown man. And it was in no way a charity event, there was absolutely a promoter that made a good bit of money. These are the facts, and my last reply to a child
How???
Yo I'm late as hell but I'm a fan of Stillman Now deadass. Contra Tubas Hell Yeah! It Gets Real @ 1:11:07

Wonderful. Wish I could have been there.
If stillman had arrangements they would be a completely different band
Wish bama state could have been centered to get recorded
Aha!! Haymer at Stillman 🧐
Tuskegee was the best in my opinion
It was really lit😂
EASY-- RIGHT HERE WITH YOU --ON THE WEB I WILL BE THERE
Why didn't they turn the mic up for the Stillman soloist?!?

Mann. If NSU was there…… That’s all…. Lol
Where's the marching Stillman????????
Leonard Carter Stillman was the best in my opinion
Yeah...gotta pick their feet up
none of these are show bands only stand bands
They do need to put more emphasis on drilling. I will say that. But I think it'll get better.

Stillman college dance girls look like grown women. Js🤷🏽♂️ I know it's college but still. And the camera man should have never left that band to show the fight!
