Just unlocked the perk for class c ships and modules.. so fricking fun. After messing about with the builder I'm finally confident enough to where I can pull any ship apart and rebuild it with a decent aesthetic. I highly suggest to anyone wanting to build a big rig in class C, head over to "sol" and find the deimos starport! There mods look awesome.
Be forewarned that the game makes the parents based off your character... so if you make a total freak expect similar. I gave my character a Buzz Lightyear look and let's just say he gets his chin from momma. Lol.
@@SaborsDestiny sounds like a pretty average family. I can't tell you how many parents I've seen look terrible but their kids look normal and nothing like them 😂

I still don't know what is going on with "landing bay must be connected with cockpit" message. I have literally put landing bay - hab - cockpit just to test it and i still got that message. So i can only conclude that it is a bug.
My biggest problem is going to be making the money to be able to buy this stuff. I’ve put in about 15 hours to the game now, and I only have 65,000 credits. And I still have to pay off my dream house, which has a 125k mortgage. 😐
Flew thru to new game plus. Built up piloting and mostly pilot related skills. Now I can use the skills...but didn't know how the mechanics worked. Ty for the easy breakdown

If you delete a component in ship builder, does it store in your list so that you dont have to purchase it again? Can you attached it to a different ship?
It’s the sf40 flowed reactor, u need to be lvl 55-60 and I believe ship designer and piloting maxed (40 power units making it be best in game but late game)

the ship system is as annoying as it is because the devs wanted revenge after they finished making everything :P particle weapons are the best, enjoy them before they get nerfed XD
I stole a ecliptic ship that was pretty big. Got to a spaceport and found out I can buy the same ship for like 5000 credits so it wasn't even a good ship lol

Lol I can't even move my parts up & down. The location on PC where your d-pad icons are just pan my camera up & down but do nothing for my part. This game is hilarious with it's time wasting trolls. After about 30 minutes, this seems like an unintuitive navigational nightmare.

I upgraded both my engines and while mobility is still 100 my top speed dropped from 150 to 140. Everything about the engines is an upgrade. What gives? This is the info I need from an ultimate guide. Again good video for what info you do give. 👍
Okay as an update to this I found that the default top speed for each engine class are: A at 150, B at 140, and C at 130. Add an engine specialist to boost top speed.
You're correct, I've tried a few times and it gives me a red error telling me I can have only one shield. There may be a perk that allows for more shields though I dunno.
@@jayceesikes2001there is a perk that makes your shield more effective. I guess we will also see plenty of mods addressing this. There is already a no limit mod on pc
Can't you look right down on the screen and see for yourself instead of searching it on youtube? They are right there you know... You can also change keybinds on pc so you decide what input you want for a specific action....

If you have the kid stuff trait, you can get a ship called the wonderwall great to take apart and rebuid

@@PuppetDungeon I made my character look really normal, and and omg the dads chin. It doesn't even look like a chin tbh, looks like a tumor.

Always use ships you don't care about because it deletes the original ship. So for example either buy a crappy cheap ship to rebuild or steal one.

I dont remember the other video I watched that said this but I think thats a bug where you just have to completely restart your build to fix it

Just do the first like 6 main missions…you’ll have more than enough money after a certain mission… 😉 it’s the mission right after “into the unknown”
I recommend doing the Crimson Fleet faction. It is quite a long quest line but you earn over 300.000 credits in total when completed.

Since the Accsoon monitor app supports a clean display, you can AirPlay cast the iPhone screen to an Apple TV attached to an ATEM input.

Don't even mess with the ship builder until you spec points into being able to pilot C class ships and unlocking all the starship designs perks.
If you obtain a ship from pirates, can you dismantle it and use the parts on another one of your ships?
Is it possible to change your traits?
How does this work with your pilot rating as far as class of ship?
I noticed 750 mass in red, how do you increase the mass size of your size to handle larger parts?
It should give you an error if you lean the ratio to much but its mass and engine power essentially, add more engines, a higher mass is aloud

You could've selected all the parts to delete them by pressing "LB"
To delete the ship its easier to select all and then delete

When I tried to add multiple shields it says you can only have one shield per ship, does that mean I need a skill upgrade ?
No you can only have i shield per ship as far as i know
