This is a rare gem. All the more so cause here in India, Metal hasn't really found a grip among the masses. They dont have a very big fanbase in their homeland but luckily they've found a loyal fanbase world over.
I met Karan, the guitar/flute guy in Delhi a couple of years back and introduced myself as a fan. I was awestruck by his humility and manners. Have been a fan since, of their music and their persona as a whole.
OOH waauw that is a great story to tell, what cool you actually got to meet the guy :).
@@scottstangeland2878 I was and they come across as such fun loving homely guys. I've met musicians before courtesy my job back in the day, I've mostly been disappointed by their cadence and overall composure but not these guys. You'd genuinely root for them once you meet them.
Metal has been a music for the masses in any country. In the 90's & 2000s, rock and metal had a big underground presence with metal festivals common in major cities. Even today there are really awesome bands making great music.
I just watched "Raj against the machine" I was curious, cos the clever wordplay always draws my interest. Holy Fuck, best rockumentary ever. I'm totally hooked on bloodywood now
These guys blow me away every time. They need much more credits for their skills

It was instant love for me too, the lyrics and passion are at the core of every person and to hear everything that's inside being played out in this phenomenal song I can't help but to cry everyti.e I hear this. Which is weird to be headbanging and crying 🤣

Not only did this band unknowingly help me get through one of the darkest depressions I've ever gone through, but their music keeps me encouraged to keep fighting. To keep rising. To keep living.
Everything about this band sounds so violent, yet they have one of most positive messages I've seen come from a metal band in a long, long time.

I have 2 songs already recorded, so this one is on the list, but it will be a little while behore this is released, but it will happen i can promise you that :)
Any half-decent orchestra necessarily has somebody who can play flute like that; but putting it into a metal song and making it really *work* (which it really, really does here) is altogether something else. The best part is, this isn't even their best song. The traditional drum they use in Gadaar is another example of how they integrate stuff into metal, that isn't usually found in metal. They're good at it, and it's really cool.
Another crazy take on metal, is Haggard; they mix metal with Renaissance music. Yes, really. And somehow they make it work.

The guitarist Karan is the shit but the drummer sounds as good as any other metal bad out there. And the bassist is no slouch either
