Edit: I did have to craft an extra 10 trapdoors and 2 lanterns when building this! I gathered the right amounts beforehand so keep that in mind

At 14:37 you can place a moss block in the middle (or wherever you'd like) and use bonemeal to generate natural moss carpets and grass. I prefer it since it feels more natural.

How do you get items to be on the trap doors? I have tried it in both creative and survival, but no luck. (Btw, this would be my ideal house irl lol)
try crouching before you place the item?
Put it down while crouching :)

Forget concrete, I just use snow blocks because they're way easier to gather and I play with fire spread off

11:57 hello! How did you make the chests not connect? I did the same thing you did and crouched when you placed the second one but mine still connected to make a big chest
Put it down while crouching :)

@@sam.autism late but are you on bedrock or java?
Late but if you are on bed rock get 3 chests and connect 2 and then place another and delete the extra one and when you delete the extra they won't connect
You can make a trapped chest and place it in between
🥲 i dont know how to get my trap doors to stagger so closely like that, there's always a big almost 1 block gap
Just shift it one square and put that down :)

How did u put stuff on the trap doors mine never work when I do it
If you play on Bedrock, you can't put stuff on the trapdoor😢
(Please use the slab instead of trapdoors.)
If you play on Java, try to place it while sneaking!
