I can relate to Adam, my dad’s family would have big parties and sometimes wouldn’t give my brother or me gifts. This one time my cousin told my brother there was a gift for him and my uncles didn’t get anything. So when all the kids got theirs my brother was sad because he didn’t get any. And it’s Fucked up because as children we feel left out. Now that I’m an adult I always try to get gifts for my brother, I don’t want him to feel left out.

the reason why it was such a big deal is biggest it DOES NOT snow in texas, even less winter storms. so when this happened Texas wasn't prepared for it cause IT NEVER HAPPENS so when it did it was a disaster, things were not handled well cause we are not used to it. i was moving back home to Tx from Wisconsin when all of this happened, and it was so crazy to see the difference in how things are handled over there to here, its snowing in wisconsin and theres already salt trucks out throwing salt and cleaning roads etc, because its a SNOWY state. as to here TX its not, so yeah it was bad. my husband and I almost got stranded cause when we got closer TO TX we couldnt even find working GAS PUMPS. No gas No light and snowy streets it was horrible.

addys family experience is the same as mine, i wasnt close with any of my family members aside from the immediate family like my mom and siblings and i would always feel some way when i would see other families all together and i would think that im the only one who doesn’t get together with the rest of their family

Aaaadddy Louie and yoatzi we love you guys! You all are very humble and loving. It’s the memories that get me chocked up! I can relate to addy on the years he didn’t get nothing with family get togethers. Same thing happen to me and my siblings growing up. I felt it happen because my mother had passed and so when my aunts would pick us up for the holidays. It was for us to get out the house and that was it to hang out with family we didn’t get gifts from them. So we stop going! Worst feeling ever.
