I thought backhand was a waste of points too when i bought it, but then i kinda got how it worked and it was quite fun to use. I solo'ed a staff and a dual wield user, even though it was kinda hard to hit em. All you need to do is get to the opponent's back and it will do a hell of a damage.

Ur the goat man and i see u play defensive a lot and mastered it, i had a question am a very aggresive dual wielder i can go 5 vs1 against averags normal saber players but i sometimes die my problem is that my stam runs out since am sok agressive i block and attack and am be honet i dont manual block on exact hit so i just move around and it happens to manuak block my questyion is did u pratice to predict where to amnual block or pratice to the point u can see where their hit is coming from to manual block and whats best way to pratice that.
My blocks are usually all manual. I kinda just mastered blocking in time from getting hit, And my defensive playstyle allows for less stam waste. Hopefully that answered your question!

Whip/Boomerangs: theyre descent in damage and mostly annoying if its used by a sprint spammer, weakness is theyre rushed or basically being parried perfectly each time. Crossguard: has the strongest attack power in exchange for defense weakness is its lack kf defense careless users will loose. Spear/scythe: theyre almost the same, its range is great but its weakness is also its swing being slow, but be warned the experienced players can lay waste to anyone with them Dual backhands: this is purely offesive sabers and also a glass cannon, the sabers are too highly offensive and its focused on taking out the opponents fast and swift. Weakness its literally weak defense and if its not used properly it is the worse saber for them. Dual Staff: the most expensive saber similar to backhands however it has slightly more defense but more range Single Backhand: its purely offensive and you need to play aggressively with it, or else it will not be good for you. Mostly thats all i got
Btw backhand is top tier, because it has really good attack speed and u can combine crouch with it so you can't get slapped by slap spammers, and it can solo duel, backhand duel, staff, and basically any other sabers if you know how to play with it.
I’ve only just started playing this game 5 days ago and have 500 KOs (100 kills a day) , I think I use more offence than defence and am saving up to get one. I can’t decide between backhand , blacksaber , dual , crossguard , tonfa and staff. Which one is worth its price and which one should I save up for? Great video btw , I’m now subscribed
Ty, I suggest Tonfa, Cross-guard or Darksaber. But if I were to choose any of those 3 I'd go for Tonfa. Tonfa is very op for the price but cross-guard is a stam drainer. so choose whatever you like
Ahsoka used the backhand, well dual one, but at the start of the clone wars she used the normal 1 backhand cus she didint had the other one until the middle of season 3.
No one in sw mains the backhand but almost everyone including asoka does use it sometimes in some fights, like i remember during kylo ren v rey they both switched between backhand and normal

10 defense is just like how many points you have until it drains. High defense mostly equals aggressive playstyle, and group saber is a cosmetic so no.

backhand is actually pretty good because it overall looks cool and challenging, has quite unpredictable moves and its defense surpasses the offense greatly. Also i think dual wield is better than staff because the wild swings which makes it manipulating and unpredictable. Barely defendable. Edit: the major issue is the E X T R E M E lack in offense Edit 2: i’ve changed my mind for long at this point. Backhand is the worst saber in the game (still better than form IV normal saber) if u actually know what ur doing the defense is way too f easy to shred trough. The offense on backhand is just way too low and killing someone will take forever before they destroyed u already.
Backhand when I first got it it looked completely useless but it is so good if you know how to use it TIPS. walk, hit then block with people with better weapons like staff. It is not your fault❤
My playstyle is just slapping the hell out of my opponent, and getting in those overhead swings. I like going for a side sweep when my opponent is standing.
I’m a backhand master I do my own fighting style with it making it really unpredictable idk why people say it sucks I was able to easily kill staffs and 1v2 duel backhands

I mean, backhand isn't for a defensive playstyle, more for an offensive one. Especially when you do combo's, you drain your enemies quickly.
Still Offensive is easy to counter. Esp if u spam combo

I'm impressed by the combat mechanics of this game they make saber fighting look good and mimic real combat better than a lot of other systems
They should add an outfitter for your saber because wouldnt it br cool to weild double sabers while using dookus lightsaber?
