- I do a full tour and walk around of my 2005 Ford Explorer XLT. It has the 4.6L V8 engine which is the same engine that is in the Mustang GT of this model year. It has leather seats, 3rd row seating, AdvanceTrac RSC traction control, sunroof, and fold flat 2nd and 3rd row seats. It is an awesome SUV, and it is fun to drive. The 4.6L V8 gives it 282ft-lbs of torque, and 239 bhp. It is an excellent SUV.

What can you tell me about its endurance?
I will have a look ata 4.6 V 8 with 295 k kilometres on it. Thats about 200 k miles.
Do the engines run that distance and even more?
Hans Franz if it has the infamous 4.6liter v8, then yes, they do last like freaking forever. Just keep up with the interval maintenance.

+hamood amen It is an error code that may pop up on a vehicle for any number of reasons. On my Explorer, it comes on after I fill the vehicle up with gas, but goes away after a half a tank or so. The light has randomly come on for as long as I can remember but no issues have come about from it.
Have you had any issues with this? Any infamous transmission issues? I wanna get one as my first car but I'm scared it will fail on me.
+StarzXFP No, I (thankfully) have not had any major issues with my Explorer. The transmission takes a couple seconds to shift into Reverse, but that is a very common occurrence with this 5 Speed and does not cause any problems. It's a solid vehicle that's fun to drive and does great off road and in the snow.
Don't worry bruh they're good
