Glad the lord tugged on your heart to seek him first. (Matthew 6:33) As believers we must be a living witness. Often and more than we want to tell it. Too many of youtubers sit on they platforms with all this material stuff and then throw god name in the mist. The Bible tells us Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? We must labor for the lord and help build the kingdom. Even though I’m Muslim, I too noticed when my prayers aren’t being done earnestly or I’m rushing them, my days don’t go as well and I am constantly thinking about how I’m going to get through instead of knowing God got it! So glad he reminds those of us that are willing to pay attention to his influence on our lives! 💯👏🏾
That's good, Dominique! Yes... I can tell when my prayers are rushed too & it's fair to God. He makes time for me... He wakes me up, He provides for me, He gives me the desires of my heart plus SO much more. I can make time for Him.
I agree! I have noticed the same thing.. when I forsake my prayer and scripture reading I am all over the place, both emotionally and mentally! I am easily frustrated, angered, etc. it’s important that we make time for God daily and throughout the day, because that is where our peace is! It doesn’t mean that we are exempt from the troubles of this world and our human emotions i.e. worry, anxiety, frustration, etc. we will just have a different response when we encounter these feelings and troubles! You were being genuine and real sharing your life. Not at all preachy. I’m happy you uploaded this because I can totally relate to feeling worried about things in life when God isn’t center of it. I wanted to share a bible verse with you because you mentioned that you were worried about not making it into Heaven. Acts 16:30-33 (KJV) 30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. When you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior with all your mind, soul and spirit you will go to Heaven no matter what. Salvation is a gift that cannot be taken away. By grace we are saved and will enter the Kingdom so never worry about that. Here is another verse.... John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Keep faith sis! Blessings to you and your precious family❤️

That whole getting into heaven part was so relatable ! Am I doing enough, and could I be doing more/ or better? When I wake up I’ll close my eyes and pray and then I’ll get up I’m trying to turn that and daily reading into a habit. But I pray that God gives you peace of mind❤️
I have my alarm set for 7am to remind me to read a scripture or devotional. I get the word before I talk to anyone (kids and hubby). It truly set the tone for your day.

Being a mom of 6 I see now I'm not the only one who worry about day to day. Thanks for your transparency about keeping God first no matter what. I do stress more when I put God on the back burner. It's not deep at all, because God wants us to keep Him first.

Hi Nitraa! This is my first time commenting on one of your videos (I’m subscribed to both of your channels and really enjoy you and your family.
I enjoyed this video for so many reasons. Mostly your down to earth honesty. When you said that you worry about Heaven and if you’re doing enough, these verses immediately came to mind.
Ephesians 2:8-10
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
Take rest in His Word today. God’s gave us the greatest gift (Jesus) to receive and you received it. Praying that you’ll continue to shine as you walk in who He’s called you to be beforehand. 🙂
I feel you little sis.....and I only say that because I’m turning 40 next week, lol. I don’t follow too many people younger than I am, but I love how real you are and AUTHENTICITY is worth paying attention to, no matter the age. This Christian walk we’re on ebbs and flows.....but the key is to stay on it. The conviction you feel is a way for you to stay secure and be grateful that you are still close to Him because you get that sense when He wants more. It’s sort of like when your mom or friend is distant and you know deep down you’ve done something you need to apologize for, lol. I definitely feel you on this topic. Periodically, I go through the same things. I'm good for a while...praying, church, focus on God and then...boom I realize that I've gotten off track somewhere along the way. It's not intentional but very noticeable. I just try to rgain my focus as I also agree that it's human nature to have other things going on. Prayers that the both of us can maintain better focus...it's a struggle sometimes.❤
Definitely an eye opener for us all! I pray everyday that God helps me to be consistent in my study and prayer life because daily life can be distracting. We wear so many hats that we easily forget the one that's most important and that's God. Thanks for sharing ❤❤

This wasn't preachy at all to be honest. I'm not even religious but I want to be more spiritual and to appreciate something greater (God or otherwise), this video kind of helped to put it in to perspective. Even without God we should all take a breather to appreciate the finer things in life like something as simple as waking up in the morning and living another day.
What I'm getting at is you should never feel like you can't show your faith. It can help in many ways since we will all take your advice and adapt it to our own lives.

And I got to a point where I dwell on your life saying I wish I had what she had I wish I had a nice home like hers I wish I could decorate like that I wish I could shop like that lol lol and it brought me to a point where I remember God saying don't dwell on others life because you dont know what they had to do to get to that point!! And then I told myself your only 21 maybe God isn't ready for you to have those things yet but your videos do motivate me to live my best life and now I'm going back to school lol but keep enjoying your life hun your truly blessed ❤️

The season of Obedience and Patience!!! I sooo feel you about slipping on prayer , church and such , I think about the sameeee things lately. I set reminders for my Bible app for at least 5-10mins after I wake up to make sure I read and listen to my worship on the way to my destination, it can help 💕
The conversation that you're delivering while applying your makeup is the truth! I always tell myself things fall off when God is not first. Your such an inspiration and I truly enjoy your channels. I can't do makeup and honestly, I don't know where to start. One day I am going to be brave enough to purchase some makeup and not let it go to waste. Keep being an example!!
Thank you for sharing, Nitraa! I absolutely agree.. when I'm putting God first, things fall into place. When I pray, read the Word, and let God lead me, I'm WAY less stressed. God is so good & knows exactly what He's doing. Sometimes I find myself trying to do things my way & that's when I'm worried and feeling anxious. When I give things to God & let Him handle everything, I'm way more at ease.

I completely agree and thank you for sharing your faith. God sees our struggles and even our struggles with faith. I too notice when I lose sight of him or when I become unfocused I struggle with worrying and become negative minded. I just thank God every time he redirects me with a message, a verse, a phone call from a friend. Continue to stay prayed up and pray over your family and God will take care of the rest.

It’s a big difference between being a Christian and being a practicing Christian. Those of us who love God know that He loves us and He loves spending time with us. We are Heaven sent and Heaven bound, no worries about that. We’re going to have times when life gets in the way, even silly life, but blessed be the Name of the Lord, we have a Holy Ghost Comforter who will use gentle urgings to bring us back into the fold. You knew what it was that had you out of sync and you got right back on track. That’s the benefit being a practicing Christian. God’s Grace will always sustain us. I needed to hear this today. I wish I could like this video a thousand times. I have been feeling off this past week and it seems as if God led me to this video, because your words hit HOME! Distractions are real, and when I am not in alignment the worry, anxiety etc. is on an all time high. I am not religious, but do believe in God and the spirit world/guides and am so thankful for your transparency on this matter. I feel the same way. I was going to church every Sunday and for some reason I just stop. I need to start going back and putting God First. I’m starting to pray a lot more and I read a bible verse every morning. But this video was a reminder to me that I need to go back to church and putting God First!

I honestly thought I was the only one that thought like that Nitra. I’m glad you shared this! I’m only 23 and have went back and forth with this feeling of “not doing enough”. I think it’s just life especially when you have kids. As I have told you before you have been my inspiration since 2013 and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I know you’re not a real personal person, not with us on CZcams at least. I’ve always respected that but again thank you for sharing your feelings with us. You’re not alone. God is #1 and he is always watching. He knows we struggle.

You’re absolutely right about putting God first. I often think that most youtubers feel this way they just don’t share it. Instead they try to fill the “ hole” with excessive living, and what I mean by that is excessive travel, eating, shopping, etc.... but after all is said and done they still have the anxiety and worry. It’s because we need spirituality, we need God. And I always try to remember that I’m able to have whatever I have because of God.... tangible and intangible....

I’m so thankful for your obedience and publishing this video. The not spending time with God like you were before IS ME. My prayer life, my gratitude journaling, and studying God’s word I felt put my relationship with God on a track I’ve never been on. Theeeen the bed started making it harder and harder to get up early, which led to straight up laziness in my routine. Right now I’m working on getting back into the flow of daily time spent with God.

I feel like whenever God touches us and moves us to speak, girl do so( I definitely needed to hear it❤). Anywhere is the perfect place when God chooses to use us. Everytime I watch your videos I get a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart! I would consider myself a Christian but the last couple years I have been neglecting my faith. My fiancé and I have made a commitment to each other that we will start going to church and insert God into our relationship so we can in turn be a stronger unit before we get married. I think we all can so relate! Sometimes God speaks to me about putting social media before him. Mornings are my time with God before my hubby wakes up. The battle between my laptop & the Bible is ridiculous! I'm always so thankful when the Bible wins my time! Thanks for talking about this topic & being so real.
