Honestly, I have never seen another couple as comfortable as maxtul. Ever. Be it Peraya, OffGun, MewGulf anything. Yes they flirt too but not to this extent. You can tell its fanservice at certain times. And as far as I know MaxTul is the only one connected for so many years. They are pro actors and gave 1000% from the very start. The production side was very bad so first series part 1 didn't go so well. Second time it took off since production and direction and editing was very good. I hope Manner of Death is super good too. Maxtul is also the only other couple apart from offgun couple being casted again as love intrests for each other in another BL. This is something I have never seen before. Usually, one pair is casted in one series for two/three seasons and then that's it. Same won't be casted again in another series. They ofc play parts in various bls but never as same pair. As such this is very very rare. The author felt the chemistry between them, in how comfortable they are with each other and so casted them both. Mewgulf acting on screen is off the charts...but I am not seeing this kind of chemistry off screen. Yes they flirt but not to MaxTul extent. Maybe they are scared of backlash/ do not want to act this familiar/ Gulf is too young to flirt this much. MaxTul is the only one who have had a solid relationship this far. MaxTul are like the rolemodels in the Bl world as far as I am concerned. Anyone can act pro lvl on screen with training. Off screen being this comfortable with each other? tough. Again, I am not saying the ships in other bl fanmeetings are being fake. Their friendship is real and they are comfortable. I never denied their friendships.
Well...off/gun have been cast in at least two series as a couple. But agreed. Max/Tul have a level of comfort with each other that is unapparelled. You could tell the guys in the last segment were uncomfortable, but it didn't make our kings bat an eye.
