It has in fact brought to my attention that the EX4 Guilmon won't gain Rush through Nail Bone since the on play will not trigger that way. Classic case of me, a card player, not reading their cards lol.
You can still just hard play it without passing to get that extra hit in. Still a viable card!
I like that Devimon and dark wings delusion tech. The Devimon gives you another threat while still progressing the main theme of beelstar for cheap. And the dark wings delusion is just a darkness wave with an extra effect that’s actually useful
Its super explosive and very funny to do.
Hey man, liked this build enough to have been giving it a go over the last couple weeks. Most of the games I've played have come down to 1 turn away from decking myself, and it's been a coin toss of who wins. Super exciting couple of turns, but has that been your experience too, or am I not understanding something during play?
That's how it goes yes. This is a turbo mill variant of thr deck I developed. You should definitely be winning at that point though? General strategy is to use Devimon for multiple checks at high DP to ensure you clear the checks. Hope you're utilizing those Dark Wing options optimally. That Sec+1 is what matters. Gotta make sure your utilizing Rush with Guil or Black Gato at the end. That's why stockpiling on those Rivals Barrage are important as well as keeping Beels in your hand and using them accordingly. All about timing.

Oh I'm fully aware. Bandai finally answered my cry for legit more Musketeer/BeelStar support. Those surveys do work. Bandai does read all those so make sure to take surveys when they put one out!
Question: Instead of the ST16-02 Elecmon, did you ever do any testing using the EX5-056 Syakomon? While it does not have great turn one play if you are going first, it does give you the benefit of Elecmon against tall decks and great benefits for wide decks. It also gives you some extra option tech if you happen to use it as a body to digivolve for memory gain on effect plays from your opponent which also opens the chance to flip turns if they are playing low on memory and extra off Mimi if they do it via an option.
Oh, the Elecmon have long been swapped out. Syako took its place, but even still it BARELY comes up. Honestly better that you just run more BT6 Imps for building trash and recursion.
@@HiScoreChef I have thought about that or running a couple ST6-04 Dracmon to have a loop for Call from the Darkness instead
Nail bone, doesn’t active on play effects, so guilmon wouldn’t get rush I think. But I will definitely try this build

@@Mumenz The gatomon is a better option IMO over Ginkaku promote, because it turns on Heavens Judgement if you run it as a 1 of, It is a yellow source for Darkness Wave if you are running that. There is no lvl 3 rush purple body you can play off Nail bone. Instead I favor Bt13 Gallant in the deck as a 1 of for a Rush body since it is also a removal card.
Is this deck still viable? Definitely a deck i wanna build and get into the gane
Any recommendations for swapping out Shinegreymon: Ruin and Deathxmon? Those cards are pricey.
You can go with starter deck Beelzemon Blast Mode for the unsuspend off of BeelStarmon and swing for game.
Granted, Apocalymon from BT15 is also a viable option. It is a more affordable top-end and synergizes quite well with BeelStarmon as it allows for you to trigger the [On Play] effect again to use another 7Cost Option for Free.

I’ve had several games where nailbone getting back a blocker has given me the time I need to win. Do you miss that at all? Could run Phasco and Devimon so two blockers off nailbone might save games you have no right winning.
Oh I used to run Blockers. However, with the constant changing Meta nowadays, Blockers are easily dealt with and played around so its really no point in running them, especially when anything Lv.4 and under are just easily targeted and deleted. I see zero value in taking up two potential slots for Blockers I know will get dealt with next turn.

Preference? Most of my trash building if from direct trashing. Did you not watch the video? I only use Elec as a way to do specific trashing from hand when I need to. Not something I need to rely on. Also really no point in floodgates nowadays since they're just easily removed.

No, because there's literally nothing in BT15 you'd use for Mastemon. You may think its good for the deck, but in actuality its not. The various Vaccine cards like the BT15 Salamon, Gatomon, Angewomon ACE are all by design, meant for traditional Yellow Vaccine. These cards do not mesh well with Mastemon builds. You're thinking of EX6. Come back to me in June.

How would DeathXmon deal with Diaboromon?
He makes Deathx Cheaper and kills all their lowest levels at the end of their turn meaning all diaboromon unless they drop cards unnecessarily to prevent it

@TonyPino18 sure is, but let's say you drop 0 deathx then memory choke them. They are just losing turns. Eventually your either going to win while they can't make an impact or they are just going to let them all die. It's a contole piece
