Living in Adelaide, I can't tell ya this looks amazing, the default airport always disappointed me, will be something I will be adding in the next few weeks, Thanks for the video!

Good review! Seems like a very good one, I just wish they would have added some people too, especially in the terminal! Makes the airport come alive when you come to the gate and see people inside the airport.

Great review as always. YPAD looks amazing. The Orbx scenery of Adelaide compliments it very well.
Just a side note..if your time permits a review of the new Orbx YBBN Brisbane would be highly appreciated, there is some controversary happening and your opinion would be much valued. cheers
I'm afraid I'm going to pass on YBBN. Just too much on at the moment.
Just purchased this. I fly through adelaide quite regularly so know the airport quite well. It always pains me that the old Adelaide airport is gone. That was a fantastic little airport back in the day. The old terminal was where the staff carpark now is.
One problem (for me) is I use an AMD 5700XT video card which normally is fine for Ultra settings. However for me this airport fills the 8GB frame buffer which is a bit sad. I have to "downgrade" to high before arriving otherwise it's unplayable. Anyone with frame buffer larger than 8GB should be fine. I play at 2560x1440 resolution. Nice job Impulse, the discount was what made me purchase.
The night lighting is very good, the terminal interior lighting could be a bit more whiter. I think the terminal and aerobridge window tint could be a tad darker.
For me, the biggest let down with the scenery is the tarmac and runway textures - they could look a bit better I think (the current ones have a generic look to them somehow).

Review the add on scenery for the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. I’m contemplating wether I should get it or not so it would be nice if u to review it because I only have enough birthday money for one airport and I don’t want to waste it.
I'm sorry, I don't have time to review every airport at the moment so I have to focus on the ones I'm most interested in.
Great review. Just an FYI, Google is almost NEVER the most up to date image of the real airport you can get. The best developers will purchase up-to-date aerial imagery that is not available to the general public.
This is true and I'm always wary of comparing airports with older satellite imagery, but the Google satellite imagery for Adelaïde appears to be from this year.
That is sometimes the case but in this case the Google map image for Adelaide Airport was last updated 2021.
Fair point (and I did say "almost never"). Just had a closer look and I'd say the textures look pretty close. Dont know what you're expecting.
@@barbsldsr we did purchase a aerial from early this year, for me it looks very different to google so not sure how recent theirs is. All textures on the scenery match our aerial :)

Why are the approach lights on houses?
The lights are mounted on large poles in peoples backyards. I live like 5 min from there.
