NARCOA 2022 GLC Excursion

- NARCOA running a 2 and a half day excursion on the Great Lakes Central line from Cadillac to Petoskey on day 1, Petoskey to Traverse City on day 2 and Traverse City to Cadillac on the last half day.
Saturday June 11th the speeders can be seen closing in on their final destination for the day the old Train Depot in Traverse City located on Woodmere next to the library.
On Sunday June 12th we would pick them up as they departed the Rock in Kingsley heading southbound back to Cadillac. The first location is the Brownson Ave Crossing by Kingsley High School and the second at the Kingsley road crossing about a mile south.

Loved seeing all the Fairmont MT-2 Inspection Cars still rolling on the track. I forgot about the larger 4-man Inspection Car, didn't think there was any still operating in the U.S. If I remember right, they used to higher horsepower Kohler Engines in place of the Older Fairmont Engines or the newer 2-man units with the Onan Engines. Worked at "The Motors" in the 1970's and 80's. Does anyone own/operate one of the old gang cars, like the A4 with the English Ford Engines or the A6 with the American Ford in-line 6 cylinders?

No its not Great Lakes Railcars. They are running on the Great Lakes Central lines (GLC)
