I've got UT swindle but now starting to like MMC. The colours pop.
I was so close to buying UT and then MMC did it. I pre-order all 5. They all look really close to the G1 cartoon.
Yep. I do like the overall shape of UT. It would be cool to see him with the MMC colors.

Unique Toys looks more like it's going for that "obviously G1 but more realistic" look that early Takara MPs went with, while MMC is going for that "walked right out of the screen" cartoon look at current Takara MPs have. They both look good, I kinda prefer UT's eyes on the head being the translucent plastic, but overall the MMC just looks more like what I want, which is cartoon accuracy.

Overall I'd give the win to MMC Fraudo.
MMC always gets the colors perfect. They get the details perfect most of the time, too.
Babobobo is a one man seller army great selection they got.
Great video and thank you for the comparison. I only have the UT version and i really love it. Robot and Jeep Mode look fantastic for me. And even my son always wants to play with him and the other Combaticons. MMC looks good and without parts forming it is awesome. But they had much more time to see what others do. So i am going with UT. 😀

As a stand alone bot...I do prefer the UT mold (with MMC color), but I do agree, the MMC is the superior figure.

I really have thought a lot about picking up some of these Ocular Max Combaticons. Swindle, Vortex, and Brawl all look good. Blast Off and Onslaught aren’t the best looking but I guess work. I wouldn’t buy this set to combine, but at least 3 of these guys in this set look good individually.
Fraudos legs always catch my eyes, especially the "ankle splints" that go down beside his feet.
I debated a long while, but glad I never got UT.
Picked up UT's Brawl, Swindle, and Onslaught for about $160 for all three. I already had a full set for Ragnaros. I think these guys look good enough for bot mode and I'm not slavish to toon accuracy. I just got their Blast Off. For Vortex, I'm partial to either the MMC or UT, just gotta find either at a good price.
i just got all 3 of the mmc swindle vortex and onslaught love all 3 of these . onslaught is a big boy .he got some heft to him when i took him out of the box. onslaught was one of my favs from the g1.

I did individual bot comparisons but not the full review, can't do that until we get all the MMC limbs, hopefully in the next few months
I like Fraudo better cause he looks like he could make a deal with just about anybody, while Gazranka looks more like hes a body builder with issues before he wants to deal with anything

You can mount the cannon on the shoulder and gives it the illusion of come out straight in front of him
It's weird but cartoon accuracy is not as important to me with combiners, and looking at the two, apart from the cartoon, I have to confess Unique Toys version looks better to me, good thing too because the difference in price between four limb bots alone for the two sets is $120+, figure in MMC combiner parts and you could have purchased MP-47 with money to spare for the difference, oh and that's not including the difference in price for the Onslaught figures, and the combiner height is about the same, and Ragnaros kills Assaultus IMHO. If MMC could have designed the legs with less bulk and flat clean panels, kind of like MP-47, as it stand it misses the mark for me, but upsets me how close they came to greatness, so freaking close! Yep all my opinion and I'll own it.
