100% agree with the wheel 😂was even more disappointed tht you can’t get pan roof with the carbon black edition and no more Alcanatara wheel . Sweet ride tho🔥
You can order alcantara wheel if you don't order an whatever-edition. Round or flat bottom wheel with alcantara and even red or green stitching is no problem that way :)
Thats a really good review. I have to agree on every point you have mentioned in regards to the 5 dislikes. For the life of me, I don't understand why Audi designed a terrible rear bumper and that fake front air vent.

Ultimate stance is decent bro, went to one a few weeks back in Telford, the midlands. Santa pod is great especially if you’re taking her on the track 👌
The "Vorsprung Edition" is limited on the extras but you can order many extras if you don't get an "Vorsprung-Edition".
#1 We can order other wheels, there are 3 types you can choose: the glossy black ones with the print, satin black ones (same as the glossy ones but without the print) and another design in silver
#2 We can order the round steering wheel or the flat bottom one. Both are available in leather or alcantara (you can also order them with red or green stitching)
#3 We can order carbon-exterieurparts like the side skirts, the mirrors and the spoiler on the back of the sedan or on top of the sportback
#4 The "fake-vent" on the front of the car is just a styling-hommage to the old sport quattro who had the 3 vents on the front of the hood
#5 The gloss black interior is really a pain, i hate it. Many owners (even A3/S3-owners) put self-adhesive alcantara on the part around the middle console, looks much better that way and is easy to install 😄
I ordered my RS 3 Sedan in the same color like yours but with the flat-bottom steering wheel in alcantara with red stitching and also black leather but with red stitching 👍

since the A3 from 2015 had the flat steering wheel i can never go back to a round one. 3 cars later i still got the flat one
The rear bumper looks like a letterbox be the first to sort it out and I agree with you on the on the bonnet false air intake
Haha, I am learning to like the rear bumper, the bonnet intake thing is the same on most of the smaller Audi’s now :(

The black plastic around the gear selector really does my head in! Purely for the fact that the people designing these cars clearly don’t have any idea about any other cars on the market apart from the one they’re designing.
The Tesla model 3 made this mistake way back in 2017 which has now been rectified. Mercedes guilty also - same mistake in their new C class. The designers ought to watch reviews like these to gain some intel about what they’re doing wrong. Woeful!

What happened to the days when you could spec extra options on top of the trim level you selected. The only option the Vorsprung has got in its favour above the Carbon black (for my preference, ceramic discs don't float my boat ) is a sunroof. The carbon black you can spec a round steering wheel above a flat bottom one (don't know why you would). Manufacturers stop palming your crap fixed trim levels off on the public. Just have a base model and let the public add the options.
I don't think that we in germany have that editions. We can spec every extra option we want.

Only the carbon spoiler or also carbon mirror covers+carbon side skirts? Also no Problem.
Seems like the configurator from germany to GB has many differences.

Does this have adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist for those long highway drives? If so, how smart is it?
It works for about 20 seconds before you need to touch the wheel but it will driver around corners if it can track the lane
It steers like the 2022 GLI
I have a question please when you put 2 times the RS button the valves from the exhaust are opening???
They’re open from either pushing that button twice to get RS performance , or they’re open in dynamic mode on the drive select button
How is the reliability on this car?
Why would you leave the sunroof open while you are talking???

You can get lane assist with flat bottom steering wheel 👍🏼
Just like the previous 8v gen, have lane assist in mine and it has a flat bottomed steering wheel. I heard the new rs3 had to had a round steering wheel if it has lane assist due to new eu regs
@@royalstevep68 the lane assist isn't the problem, you can get a flat bottom wheel (even alcantara) + lane assist in the new rs 3 too but you need to change to the round steering wheel if you want the adaptive driving assistant, this is like a light version of the autopilot.
Nothing we need in an RS 3 😉

Lovely car but the front plate on the dash is tacky a imho. It comes off a bit Vauxhall Corsa chav styling cue.

Damn, 5000 pounds for ceramic brakes? I have a deposit down on one in the states, but haven’t selected options yet because it’s not available. I won’t be going for ceramics though. That’s too damn much. Plus, I have them on my current car and they seem to randomly squeak a lot
Congrats though. I’m gonna go with black, but that gray would be my 2nd choice. It’s a great color

Also you only get ceramics on the front as option, the rears are steel
How much do you have on the deposit? Im also looking to purchase one this year hopefully but my local dealers arent accepting anything till they receive the options booklet

Fantastic car but get the TT RS pretty much the exact same performance and it looks like an R8! I break necks in that car everytime I drive it
I decided to keep my old one. Didnt like the colour options so I'd need to go exclusive, cost to change was about £20k , not worth it. However that daytona grey is one I did consider and its definitely the best stock colour.
Not sure about the rear honeycomb, but its the interior I don't like, seems cheap and a scratch fingerprint magnet , as for the round steering wheel, what a joke

Those carbon ceramics are honestly just a huge money grab from Audi, you kind of made a 5000$ mistake with that option. The carbon ceramics have been an issue for many people in the last 4-5 years whether its in the TTRS, RS7, RS3 etc., the only real advantage they have over steel is that 1. theres less brake dust if youre tracking the car, and 2. theyre lighter and 3. theyre SUPPOSED to last longer. The only problem is for most people, only #1 was true. People have had their ceramics overheat after a single day at the track even though they followed every single thing Audi said about breaking them in and tracking them. Theyd have the glue between the pads melt, and sometimes also have the wiring harness melt that run through there for monitoring your brake performance. Apparently the issue is that theres little to no airflow available to the brakes to cool them down, there are some modifications people have made so that the brakes can get better airflow but most people end up just replacing them with a big steel brake, the only real advantage the carbon ceramics give is being slightly lighter tbh.
I’ll take a Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing over this & keep my man card in the process.
