I think there were some problems with Insider Beauty in general. Nico said on her channel there was a union strike. Now they don’t seem to post anymore. But she still makes videos on her channel @gurlnico

0:34 I think you’re totally right! These remind me way more of a K-beauty lip tint (especially the Rom&nd ones) than a lip oil. Maybe they felt like US consumers wouldn’t be familiar with a term like tint?
If you check the ingredients of the Rare Beauty one, it's legit the same as Etude House Glass Rouge Tint as well, no doubt it's just a Korean lip tint

@@mei42nathat's the way their lip and cream blush products felt like to me. Quality wise it's the same, but I do still get rare beauty stuff for the shades. Even if I'm Asian I'm too dark, so most kbeauty products just makes me look weird.

A lot of these brands by American celebs I feel like they are basically Korean beauty products like Fenty and Rare Beauty lip products (Fenty lip stain and velvet lip stick, Rare Beauty tinted lip oil) but hats off to them for having more shades that suit different skin tones

colourpop blushes are SUPER PIGMENTED so user beware unless you’re into that but they are such gorgeous blushes

i feel lip oil is just a tiny amount of lipstick plus shea butter/almond oil and thats what i use at home... i sincerely dont get it...

The rare beauty lip oils are not tints they're lip oil
To be honest owning them myself their more like tints then oils they have a slightly glossy feeling when you first apply them but that quickly fades away leaving you with a tint which lasts ages

The thing that I don't really understand is why you go for so much lighter than your skin foundation, applying it all over your face and then shadowing some areas although you don't actually need that much coverage. Your skin is in perfect condition. Not to mention that covering your skin with all that make up makes you look overdone. Like you are trying to hide something ( that is not even there to start with).
It should be better to go for a medium light foundation and just highlight the areas that you want and let the non covered areas create the "shadows".
Less is more for the condition of your skin and your age, even when you just want to show the new products.
